Have you heard about Miracle that has happened in Bangladesh over the last 30 years? No? Bangladesh has the highest population density among the worlds big countries, today, Bangladesh has more people than Russia. But the area is smaller than Florida.
So what is the Miracle? In 1970 an average women in Bangladesh gave birth to 7 children, and on of four of them died before the age of five. But after independence from Pakistan in 1971 things has improved.

update from 2020 Bangaldesh has imrpoved even more and reached a stable population with 2.1 births per woman and 3% Child mortality rate!!

This is a fantastic eye-opening video, I knew of the over-population, etc. but not the detail in sq. km and the size of the nation compared to a state.

bangladesh is still a predominantly agarian coutnry. What makes it a miracle is that Bangladesh has achieved this without major industrial expansion.

I'm sure nobody wants to hear about some miracle in that accent no matter how miraculously miracle it may be. ZZZzz.. 2. I found the graph presentation very exaggerating. I mean come on! Come on! 1. He is Swedish. 2. Why exaggerating? it's just animating a boring data table. 3. Of course no one expected that. We had 20 years of military dictatorship, we were at the bottom in household income, natural disaster was a regular thing, corruption was and still is rampant, and we had no historical experience in governance. It IS a miracle sewed up by farmers, garment workers and NRBs.
