A weird ending for a weird game

I saw the ending in a gameplay and it seems there's also another cutscene before the game ends, it's a person (likely your shadow bc that's what the game is about) right after this scene ends, probably that's why you feel it's so anticlimatic, but still I wanted to see if you get to the real world or something.

I'm pretty sure there isn't anything after the cutscene with your shadow except for the credits. There are full playthroughs on KZbin
