Patrick Hannon - yes, I agree. Kay is still very funny though. But he wouldn’t be the first comedian to utilise rehearsed assistants in the audience with the intention of hoping the audience thinking that it was made up on the spur of the moment!

@showmoke, I know, I'm agreeing with you! I probably didn't phrase it right, but yeah a lot of comedians do use "plants" in the audience more often than you think, as you probably know. I was just trying to point out the difference that some comedians need to practice and refine a routine, where others, like Dara, are better when they work off the cuff, I'm a musician and it's the same for me and my mates, some work off the cuff and some need to rehearse
