There is a HUGE difference between organizing and staying organized. Labeling where things go makes staying organized way easier than staring at a big open space, trying to remember where stuff went. I'm all about making life easier - and labeling makes staying organized so very much easier. Nicely done, Doug! Take care and God Bless.

Nice video. You give me a lot to think about for future organizing. An interesting video might be a week in the life of Doug, where you show how you occupy your time without getting into any real detail.

Love the organizational videos. I have a very organized garage slash man cave. I just ran across a storage crate that is the absolute best and figured I would share. Sidio crate. Sooo many options for storage. I bought two for now as they are expensive. They make me happy to look at and use. Take care

I like those Home Depot hangers. Have you considered perhaps shortening the ones for the fuel cans just to make it a little easier to slide them on when they're full?
@doozerakapuckfutin9 ай бұрын
That tool idea you needed - French cleats are pretty handy. When I worked in a horticultural fuel store nothing was on the floor - I never asked why but I guess it was to do with fuel separation or just looking neater ….

Good morning Doug, you’re going to need a Camera in that outdoor storage area so you can catch that Sneaky criminal, he’s got a pretty good disguise looking like Adam yeah Your organizational skills are Dougified to the next level and will be pleasing to the eye and the overall life and usages of the tools. I was thinking that some netting in front of the shelves to keep things from dropping off accidentally as you’re moving other items off the shelf. Have a wonderful week. 😀👍👍👍

Anyone that shares tools in a household knows that experience of having an hour to get a job done and you spend the first 30 min trying to find your tools for the job! Great LEAN organizational tutorial! Curious... Did you tack a sign to a post in the boneyard so Adam knows where to return the post hole auger?

Doug you almost put your face into the center gas can hanger when bending over (look back at the video). I would recommend cutting and re-capping the center hangers they do not need to be that long......

Doug, do him a favor and get rid of the ridiculous government gas can nozzles. Installing the flexible hose and a small air vent has made using a 5 gallon can so much easier.

Great job as always. Curious, how do you hang your ladders. Vertically or horizontal or do you utilize the ceiling space?

That is so cool using the space next to the garage doors for the hanging cans. Where did you get those wavy wall hooks from? Also, prior to sealing the garage floor did you clean it and if so with what? I have the same exact garage floor, a bit dirty with oils, etc. but I want to either seal or polish it.
@OneEyeCustoms9 ай бұрын
Home Depot, I talked about it in the video. It was a fresh concrete pour so I only had to hose it off from dust then seal it.

Yep, the hooks hold 50 lbs and work great for a full can. The one was 3/4 full.
@garny37669 ай бұрын
@@OneEyeCustoms ok. Only reason I ask is hanging those cans full for extended periods especially when hot out, I worry that plastic handle would start to deform and potentially break. Empty yes hang forever, full…I’m storing on floor or shelf.
