For my available funds I think I will look into a highend frontend and basic gyro then Frankenstein it onto my K989 until I get some extra cash for radio/electronics+chassis

Hi , I really love your videos! I have a bunch of friends and we all so 1:28 drifting. But we also love to change out Chassis to racers, fit grip tires and do a Little Racing after the Drift Challenge. No Hardcore Racing. Just fun and carefully, no one wants to damage his drift-Chassis. And here is the problem. Most new drifters don’t have Open diffs. And Most Even don’t have the option to one. So maybe you could make a overview of Cars with Open diffs/closed Diffs with/without Option on open diffs and try, if one fits any chassis ?!? I really Like the TG Chassis, but I want a Ball diff. So I am thinking of buying one and trying to modifie a Ball diff from other to fit in. You do have all chassis and so all Diffs. So maybe you could look if Diffs are interchangeable somehow. For me, the TG would be Most interesting with Open diff. And I really think, there are lots of people out there, who want to know, if they could install a Ball Diff into their Drift chassis. Just an idea. But maybe worth to think of… Thanks

@GarageMiniRCUK appreciate your videos. That would be great, I did find TG Racings channel but no English or subtitles in assembly video so I have to watch very closely.

@GarageMiniRCUK9 күн бұрын
Depends. If ypu want one with a shell like a mini z type or just one that fits 1/24 self build and paint shells.
@MadShepard9 күн бұрын
@@GarageMiniRCUK either way i suppose. i don't even know where to look, i have a mini z but it's never worked. so it just sits in a box somewhere

Please could you tell me a good uk based rc shop that sells this size of car ie 1/24,1/28 scale, I can't find anything!
@GarageMiniRCUKАй бұрын
Hrc mini z areana or rc mart.
@callumbarter5244Ай бұрын
@@GarageMiniRCUK thanks, but unless you know what you're searching fore they are no help atall, you type 1:24 1/24, 1:28 1/28 and nothing comes up, although they have plenty on the website I'm not sure what to pick haha, not alot of info online and had to find this video to even learn a few brand names, this is not a very accessible sport for outsiders or people like me who can't get to clubs or tracks, its a nightmare trying to find ANYTHING out at all haha, thanks for your help though!

I agree. This has given me an idea for an intro video . I'm reviewing a cheap 1/18 scale as an introduction to the hobby soon. It might be worth waiting for my video hopefully next few weeks.
I got one as my first, nothing to compare it to, but it is hard to drift compared to ldr/c. Also the servo broke after 1 battery. Maybe look at the TG RTR, I just ordered one

Hi, do mini-z ASF or MHS board with gyro works for these 2wd drift cars? Are the turning angle enough? I would like to mod the 3 wire servo to 5 wire for the mini-z board.

Not worth it unless go 3d printed route.

I’d like to hear your feedback comparing what you’ve got vs. Drift Art 3, do you ever plan to review a DA3AS?

I really want to get into rc drifting. I’ve just bought a cheapy LDRC Mx5 from Ali Express. Not sure how long it will take to come to the UK but 🤷🏽♂️. I’ve ordered a different gyro as I’ve heard the stock one is rubbish. I know the car I’ve ordered has nothing on your cars but I’m just seeing if I get on with drifting I’ll look into buying a better car. Don’t suppose you have any small rc drift pages on Facebook? Also I don’t suppose you’re selling any cars 🤷🏽♂️😂

Hello such a great vid, so I’m not a rookie to rc. I build 1/24 crawlers and 1/10th cars. I’d like to purchase a drifter but so many options out there. I truly get what you say hard to pick a favorite. So my question would be what would be a beginner drift car to drive. The building isn’t a problem putting upgrades not a problem. Not sure how much $$$ to throw into this but willing to pay for an all around drift car. I’ve watched a few of your vids and you’re pretty experienced so I value your opinion. My receiver is the Flysky gt5. So I’d like to continue with that. Not sure to buy a RTR or build from scratch. Help with some advise. Alex

A good build from scratch is alwys better for experience .small scale drfiters are twitchy to set up. You can get a micro rx for the gt5 so that should be ok. It really depends on on the level of begginer , i am going to build the ma racing chassis next and i have been told its a good build and straight forwrds but epic in ability.
