When I was in my 20s (in the 90s), I would hit up five to ten garage sales every weekend (using the paper to route out where I was going) and I got a LARGE majority of my collection then - a quarter to a buck, max. Nobody wanted records anymore. I loved Fortress - it used to by on HBO a lot.

I’m a huge fan of midcentury. Midland MI was packed with midcentury. Architect Alden Down lived that and had studies under Wright. Incredible houses. I have always worked Saturday morning so I never get to garage sales. The few I’ve been too were crap so I just didn’t want to waste my time. At least your having fun

I have the DVD 📀 of Fortress ! Rachel Ward with a nice swimming scene in it .. I like transparency. I need that Thomas Dolby & 10CC on vinyl & The Payolas with Eyes Of A Stranger. They never made it in the states. Bob Rock learning how to Produce from Mick Ronson !

What, no Bloodrock?..or Barabajagal?..I guess those records are plentiful in US and Canada, I would've snapped those up in a heartbeat. Eldorado is a nice ELO album, but A New World Record is my favourite.
