Please make more of these garage sale videos. I love the way that you record commentaries instead of actual footage sound. What makes the video educational is all the valuable information that you provide about certain brands and how well they sell for you. This is what I need to learn in order to obtain more quality items to sell. Thank you.

Many folks who have garage sales have gotten smarter. They know that resellers/dealers go to these sales and therefore they raise their prices. But we can still find bargains. Nice video.

The true reality of the garage sale flip game. Some times you win....some times you lose. It's not as easy as some people make it out to be. Great job staying focused and making the day a winner after getting off to a slow start. I think the secret to turning the day around was the Chick-fil-a breakfast. You can't have a bad day after that!
@HustleatHomeMom5 жыл бұрын
Lol this is the truth!! Yep, bad days happen to everyone but it's all good. Things can turn around before you know it! I had the worst garage sale day of my life before I hit up my last location and got the biggest score of my life. So you never know! :) Thank you for the kind feedback !

I absolutely DO NOT say this with the intention of being critical, but rather for education purposes. That "xylophone" was actual a set of bells. It was a beginner set that is used for first year percussion students and IF the entire set is there and in good shape, you might get $125. Good call to leave it. Just a tip, typically bells are metal bars and xylophones are wood or resin bars. Again, not being critical, just trying to help out if run in to another one!

Saw some Star Wars toys in that lot of toys. Picked up a lot of them the last weekend for $5 and I've already made $35 off of them. I still have plenty of more to sell. I should make about $100 from them. There's a Facebook group called Action Figure Identification that will help you identify the figures.

I always feel like if ppl know I'm a #reseller they will charge way more on purpose so filming can be tricky. I try to pretend to not film or don't film. I'm still learning and hoping to grow my business more. I dont make daily sales quite yet and mostly only sell on posh but am clearly f***ing myself by not selling on Ebay! I really like this type of video - very helpful to those of us who don't know yet what to look for. I know that Goodwills and thrift stores in different areas of the country probably have different brands of clothing available. It would be helpful to see when you are browsing thru the clothing racks, what brands are available in your area and know why you choose the ones that you do (if that makes sense). I'm getting better with the women's name brands and knowing what is a good brand to get and what I should leave behind. But still, I have so much to learn! There are so many brands out there - and some that are vintage and the companies don't even exist anymore. And on shoes, I just don't have a clue. I look and try to search for comps on ebay, but honestly, I am horrible at shoes LOL

I feel your pain - my last two weekends garage saling haven't been that great, and I've run into both those things - neighborhood sales that aren't and video games getting scooped up by early bird resellers moments before I got there. This actually looks like a typical experience for me after watching reseller haul videos. You just don’t get those same effortless, amazing results and it’s all worthless junk with a few valuables here and there (especially thrift stores in my area). @onyxmystique96805 жыл бұрын
BLUE WATER PINES I’ve been keeping newly bought garage sale stuff on the back porch. I bring it in to clean it and prep for photos, then wrap each item in sealed plastic for storage. Walmart has cheap bagel bags you can store smaller items sealed in plastic. You can tape two or more together for larger items. Other people recommend putting clothing in the dryer on high heat right when you get it, but some delicate items could be damaged from doing that. I just bought a steamer so I don’t have to wash everything. It’s really time consuming to wash clothes, and I have three other people using the washer in my household.
