Caught us off guard with a GT quick test x It’s definitely an interesting wax and one I want to use more having only done a small test with it. Still glad its on my shelf too as it offers something different.

It definitely does Nick, in typical GT style it's not like other products in the same category - they definitely stand out for one reason or another, might not be to everyone's taste but their ability to think outside the box is on another level 👌🏼 I can't lie, I'm not a fan of the lack of slickness so I imagine if I used this regularly I'd be using sigma/QD as toppers just to get that slick feeling. But the water behaviour is very impressive - to some that's more important

Perfect video for showing how to correctly apply, remove and refresh a wax, agree with you that it's not the slickest of waxes to remove but the hard work is amplified by the results which is the fantastic water repellency. Great music in the video and a flad flip and traffic filem removal 👍🏻 Keep up the good work sir.

Great wee demo of GT Alpha, was just thinking the shot of the mini reminded me of the MER product demo’s of yesteryear 😅 thankfully you didn’t set fire to it 😂😂 An awesome long lasting wax so it is, still going strong on my bonnet after more than 8m now, superb editing too, loving the close shots!!

Oh Mark, do you want my teeth because they aren't working for me at the moment 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Jury is out for me as I'm using GT 3Cs and Sigma so I can't see the point in spending £40 just for the sake of it. I used to use Autoglym HD wax but with the cloths I had (Autoglym ones) it was always a pain to remove. Really pleased you mentioned the cloths you used as most other people just say a cloth. Good to know I've bought decent cloths this time (all GT range). Nearly forgot I love GT panel wipe, it smells fantastic 🤪🤪Great video by the way 👍👍

Hi Paul and thank you 😃 I do think the cloths are very important, these GT ones are of a very high standard - not the sort of cloths you'd be using for tar & glue removing any time soon 🤣 I honestly had no issues removing it, and definitely no issues with the performance - it still looked freshly applied after a maintenance wash... It'll be interesting to see how long that lasts as I know people who have said it's still going strong after 8 months 😲😲😲 time will tell

@@SparkleanAutos I think the reason I put myself off waxes was that when we had the van it took ages to wax and I got fed up and bored. Very little gain for all the hard work I'd just spent. Might be different now we have a car though, could be worth a look in the future, especially when I've got most of GT's product line.

Well I'm never one to tell someone what or what not to buy, but I have always enjoyed applying a wax - I just find it therapeutic! The results might never be on a par with spray sealants, but the process is always going to be a personal preference... Mind you, I wouldn't want to be waxing a van too often either 🤣🤣

Hello Mark,this GT one Alpha wax,looks good,Ive seen somewhere that it was awkward to take off with a microfibre cloth,but the results are great.

Hi Steven... I've heard similar stories but I had absolutely no issues whatsoever - maybe the quality of cloth pays a big part in that, the Garage Therapy Final Towel was fantastic, as you can see in the video!

Good video Mark. The jury is still out for me, unlike Graeme who seems to be getting a great performance out of it. I left it for 6 months without any maintenance and when I washed the car it was totally flat. I know its a little unfair to leave it so long without any maintenance so will use it again and see how we get on but £40.00 is a lot of money when there are some great waxes on the market that are cheaper & have great longevity performance.

We can all only judge products by the results we get ourselves Martin and if you're not getting value for money then you'll look elsewhere - this was my first use and so far I'm impressed with the water behaviour... Maybe more regular maintenance cleaning is the key... It definitely made a huge difference on this occasion after it looked dead so we shall see.

Hello Mark. I have been using Soft 99 Fusso. Such a durable wax and hydrophobic, if you haven't tried it you should give it a whirl. Nearly forgot Mark ( old age mate😁), is it possible to attach a quarter inch quick release foam cannon to the AVA if so where would you buy the adaptor.

I used the old Fusso but ran out long before starting KZbin, absolutely amazing product! I have included a link for that part in the description now (didn't realise there was none 🤦🏻‍♂️) amzn.to/3H93vA4 The AVA uses the exact same fittings as Kärcher so it's easy enough to find accessories 👌🏼
