Because most of their vehicles are $20k over priced. This makes them to expensive for the majority of the population especially with high interest rates and a fast growing general cost of live.

I’m going to keep it pre-recession for the rest of my life!!! 05 and back cars are more reliable and easier to maintain!!! You can literally see the quality drop in the last 15 years!!!

A car is meant to go from A to B that’s it !!! Y do I need a TV in the dashboard a computer for gages and a camera to back up??????? My dad didn’t need all that stuff and he thought me! How did we stray so far??

At one time I thought I was seriously thinking Tesla for my next vehicle. (We do keep our vehicles for longer than average). But as independent information comes out about real world factors, I may never buy an EV daily driver in my lifetime. Yes I’m getting up in age, and I do believe EVs are the future. But that future for >1% is still a generation of two away.

People are not buying because they are over priced garbage. Most people need a vehicle for transportation. Not some burden that has a new recall every month.

About rental cars when your car is in the shop, my insurance policy will cover 45 days or $3000. Also, if an offer to total the car is made, the rental coverage is terminated.

When these repairs and everything cause problem$, dumb OEM and go stand alone. Pricy in the short term, cost-efficient and valuable in the long term... The more modern/new you go the more pricy and difficult it will be do.. I prefer older cars (pre 2016, less restrictions & better sound) so its easy for me to say... There are not many cars after 2016 that fuel my fire anyways.. But if you like new, buy low millage instead of new new.. The money you save can be put in to repair/mods/customization ect.. Meaning more bang for you buck.

They couldn't give me one of those because they are junk. Junk electronics, junk engines, and junk transmission. Ive owned many vehicles in my life the best one was a ford truck. The issue with that is that truck was built in 1984, ford has gone down hill ever since. I owned 2 vehicles made by ford in the late 90s and had nothing but problems with the electronics, it hasn't gotten any better.

@thomasrape4616 I had a 97 f150 ran it 318,000 km. And never fixed anything on it except basic wear parts, tires ,brakes,shocks.

Can't afford to buy used since a 2010 Ford Fusion with more than 120,000 miles is priced $20,000. $5,000 less than when it had 1,000 miles off the lot. 🤣😂

Ford pickups were stacked like cord wood at closed assembly, plants, racetracks here in Michigan. Yeah I wouldn't touch one with a 10-ft pole.

When car manufacturers have to pay someone 30 dollars any hour to put 6 bolts in a door this is what you get! A car no one can afford. To me all a car needs is a AM/FM radio and Air conditioning. I've got a 2022 Scat Pack Challenger I start it up the radio comes on and down the road i go, don't use the rest of that crap

Mavericks are still extremely hot. Resale value thru the roof. Hybrids and gas selling well. EVs slow sell and resale value is not too good.

Between the multi-millionaire owned dealerships & the UAW, The Big Three are getting a taste of their own medicine 100 years after they ran Tucker out of business. I might be able to be convinced to take one of those vehicles, provided the dealership makes payments to me to take it off their hands. Buy TSLA get rich while the Tesla of your choice drives you to your destination with FSD.

A vehicle is one of the items were 90% of the population waste their money in life. If the money use in new, hot trends or fomo was better invest, most people will end with more thru their life. Do your home work and never buy new.
