My parents HATED that I had these. Guiltily, caving to pressure, I threw my whole collection in the garbage pail in a self-righteous tantrum on our back patio. I loved PATTY PUTTY and still say her name like, monthly, out loud to myself. It just pops into my brain and I say it. Loved LIVE MIKE too. Punk AF Thanks for sharing. Isn’t it nice that some parents in our generation like yourself can share these with their kids instead of making their kids feel like freak heathens for enjoying them? ✌️

I'm 40 years old now and to this day still want the 1st series so finally this year I've been on ebay buying them a few cards at a time to complete it. Just wrapping ruth and his other name tommy tomb alone cost me $26 but so worth it to me....dead ted and jay decay is the next A and B set I really want to get

I know it's a stretch since it's an older video, but does anyone remember back in the day on the GPK website there were those two side-scroller? worlds where you can press on GPK characters and they'd do some sort of gross interaction? There was the downtown world and the harbor world. Man, I wish I could play those again. I'm pretty sure they got rid of them because of the grotesque nature some of the characters would display like the baby being impaled by a hook and its heart would be at the end of the hook.

Oh......that coveted 1st series, reason the production was so low on that set is because Topps didn't know if anybody would actually want or buy these cards...2nd series isn't quite as rare but still not produced in the numbers 3rd - 5th was, they went nuts on producing those sets and are the ones you usually see out in the "wild" 11th thru 15th are also rare because they were starting to ramp down production as they had quit selling so much...Best card ever? Dead Ted and Fryin Brian IMO...

I see this is an old upload, but maybe you (or anyone in the comments) can help me out….. I’m trying to recall the name and/or alias/b card of this 1 Garbage Pail Kids card, I’m not sure of its popularity, I’ll give you the description of ow I recall it in my head….. So basically I believe it’s a boy in sort of a fountain?….. Basically he’s stuck inside a blue gallon jug like you buy at a grocery store (often times at the front end) like he’s struggling to get out, unstick, or about to drown because you see his hand has already come out the faucet end, the part that dispenses the water. Any idea of the name or alias? I’m uncertain which series it’s from but 1 I had a really long time ago when they were popular? I believe mine were around mainly a mix of series 3-4, a few earlier series here and there….. Also want to add, too, the figurines are pretty cool. I actually wish they could’ve been able to do a collaborate with the Cabbage Patch creators and make some of them life plush doll size, had the founder/creator not felt that they were tarnishing his brand. Every once in a while I’m mentioning to people how much I’d kill to maybe have Hot Head Harvey (Roy Bot, which I always call him by his alias because that’s how I’ve always known and associated him) made as 1 professionally down to the very detail of the card and figurine including the shiny finish. (I have both Hot Head Harvey and Roy Bot figurines). But that’s merely a dream IF I had the resources and $, some way to contact the artists. I know there are kits too, but it ain’t really the same.

@@brandeeleblanc9265 Yeah. For the longest time I couldn't recall it or the alias I don't think I know, either. Series 6? I'm not sure they went that far..... I thought he was part of 3 or 4, an original long before 5 when Xavior Roberts had Topps reink and slightly redesigned to not look identical to Cabbage Patch, which by the way for that very reason I'll never consider any of the redesigns Garbage Pail Kids.

Not worth $2000 . Series one is about 200 - 300$ the value goes down as they got more popular, so around series 4 they're worth around 50 if you're lucky. I'm all for showing a younger generation of kids these great cards, my nephew loves them .

Ya series 1 is most valuable cuz there not as many made once they saw they were a hit they started mass producing them a set like this is worth about a couple grand easy depending on who’s buying em

Eh i tend to disagree because I was collecting these cards in 1986 as a kid and couldn't even get the 1st series then, I'd gladly give $2,000 for the set in nice condition....2 or 3 hundred would be for a set in really rough condition
