Heat wave! Fire is such a good offensive type and being able to nail to opponents with a base 100 move that doesnt hit your team mate is just priceless!

Alright first off this surprises me. His Scizor didn't do so well but mine wrecks with Iron Head, X-Scissor, Night Slash and False Swipe (let's face it we all like catching Pokemon easily.) As for my favorite move to use...well you mentioned any battle in your QotD so I will go with my all time favorite move Dark Pulse.

in an old videos, you talked about contacting you with teams, i have a ridiculously old team (my Crystal fighting team) that I would like to see in action again. I know it sucks now with abilities and choice items, but it was invincible then. maybe you can revamp it so i can relive glory days?

Hey Pikawu, question here: Why do you use gems as held items? Type-boosting items like Charcoal or Spell Tag power up the moves the same way, except they aren't one-turn use. Using gems limits they usefulness (You even mention how you lose the item if misplayed) and give your opponent the edge of knowing your held item. Twistedspoon Cresselia could have a boosted Psyshock every turn and not just the first hit :)

favorite move? don't know if this counts but rain dance + surf + fly, your opponents get hit hard with surf in the RAIN and your own FLYING type pokemon uses fly and avoids the hit.....that was kind of three moves.

I'm a big fan of Charge Beam, since there's a relatively high chance that it can up your Special Attack, and it does a fair amount of damage. This is, of course, for any battle...

do you not have detect on scrafty? It would've been safer and better on the second to last turn for scrafty to detect/protect and garchomp go for earthquake instead of using stone edge. I also prefer using yache berry rock slide garchomp.

I have to use mine to counter my friends who hack their Pokemon. My Garchomp I had from a level 1 Gible vs. a hacked Giratina. *My Garchomp's attack is godly, so I one-shot it with Outrage.)

Well that may also backfire, I always put a Lum Berry on my Jolly 'Chomp to shake off the confusion after Outrage, but you using Swagger would Sharply raise his Attack then the Lum Berry would snap him out of confusion. Basically, you'd be giving my Garchomp a free Swords Dance.

IMO I think Machamp is best suited for No Guard because of the moves he learns while leveling up such as Cross Chop and especially Dynamic Punch which has 50% accuracy and if it hits the opponent is confused. Plus, he gets stab from both of them.

If I was talking about 1st Gen. I'm talking about 5th Gen. I'm pretty sure that the move description for Fissure in 5th Gen is that it instantly kills any pokemon if it hits. the accuracy of the move is 30% so it rarely hits UNLESS a pokemon has No guard such as Machamp or Golurk. So if Machamp had Fissure, It wouldn't matter if Machamp is slow or not. as long as it survives it's opponents attack, the foe's pokemon is as good as dead. I'm not sure if Golurk can learn Fissure by leveling up tho.

No guard means all attacks will hit you aswell so any faster pokemon with a ohko move will kill machamp because there is no chance of them missing

You do realize these videos are VGC not Smogon. They have different rules in which VGC allows the use of OHKO moves. However not a whole lot of people use them because of the low accuracy.
