Oh my word Ryan, I could just imagine someone throwing the shovel in the air and giving up, that was nothing but brutal work. I don’t know how you continue this job. That has to be 20 years of neglect on that driveway. You certainly don’t need a gym membership with the way you work so very hard. You obviously have a super strong work ethic to continue this job. You could use a 1/2 dozen staff with you!!! I love your editing, enjoy you speaking to us in between at times to explain your future plans and what some of the plants are. I get envious watching these as i have sick lungs but don't smoke and never smoked im early 50 so things like this should be easy but sadly im unable to do anything exertive. I think myself lucky im still able to mow only because i downsized to smaller property and never let my lawns become overgrown so it's a bit easier altho i still get coughing fits i just have to go slower and rest frequently.

You proved the axiom of "work smarter, not harder" by using the weedeater/whippersnapper method and then cutting parcels of sod out with the edger. You dug out so much dirt it could make another garden for someone (wink). I might suggest small squares as opposed to rectangles (fits the shovel better). Also, if you could turn the top edge of those big green bags they stay open better to shovel things into. Keep on going, you're doing fine. You certainly earned your supper tonight!

Yikes Ryan - that sure was a hard slog! Don't think I've ever seen such a heavily overgrown driveway. And jasmine, fishbone fern, violets, ivy etc - all things to avoid planting in the garden! No issues with your editing. Always enjoy watching your videos and it's great to see someone working in my general area.

The absolute I know about you is that you do not shy away from hard labor (work). It seems to me your desire to make a property look and function the way it should outweighs the intensified labor needed to achieve that special transformation. That way you can share a playlist instead of a single video and hopefully get more views. You already have the consistent naming down of your series (much appreciated), so I think adding playlists with the same name and maybe the year behind within parentheses would improve your KZbin channel. I love your editing. I like the intro followed by the "ASMR" sounds of the yardwork. The speed is perfect - just fast enough to not be tedious and just slow enough to actually see the work. I like that you do closeups when you're doing detail work with the shovel, and slightly farther away shots when you're edging or mowing so we get the bigger picture. I like the actual work you do - such great care and love for the job. You're in my top three fav YT channels I watch! I have noticed many channels I watch are starting to get rid of their subtitles/CC option. Please don't! I rely on CC! Thank you for all your hard work! You're amazing!

Ryan, that work looked so hard. I was wondering if you sharpen the blade on your shovel. I have seen another channel and that is what he does, and it makes his work a lot easier.
