We are having the same weather problems here in Ohio. No rain, and temperatures in the high 70’s 🤦🏻‍♀️. Our refuge company has given us a 96 gallon container for free for yard waste. I don’t compost because I have no room either. Your cuttings look wonderful! I’m getting the Christmas bug too. Thanks Queen.

Hello. Before my neighbor moved away, he gave me one of those barrel composters that you fill and turn daily. I haven't set it up yet, because our gardens are going in next spring. Every year I think I'm going to get my gardens in, but I have little or no help, so I find myself coming up with ideas on how to construct fences and more by myself. I finally have a budget and a plan, so next spring it is! The compost barrel will be between the house and the vegetable garden. We have 5 acres (half forest) and very rural in North Idaho, so the barrel should keep the critters out of it. Fingers crossed. Maybe one of these barrels will fit in a corner of your yard and allow you to compost more.

I have a half-acre suburban lot. I did compost in my previous home which was more rural. I don’t have the space here. When we rake leaves in the fall we put them in our garden beds.
