Garden spider vs giant wasp Part 1

If you've never seen a spider wrap it's prey then you have to see this. We had this large garden spider in a window and had these wasps flying around the yard looking for spiders to feed their young when they hatch. These wasps dig holes in the ground that they stuff with stunned spiders. These things are huge. We wanted to see how things went against these large garden spiders. Very educational.

It's amazing how spiders adjust to the human factors. His web is right on the window so at night when the light is on he catches his prey. Nature is so smart ^-^

The reason the spider took so long to go after its prey was because it was feeling the vibration from the net. At around 1:02, it was plucking a thread of silk, trying to determine exactly where the vibrations were coming from. With dangerous prey like a wasp, choosing the wrong end to attack could mean a sting.

Okay, I have to explain something. We NEED spiders. They kill those pesky bugs we see all day. And bees, yes we need them, we really do. But this is a WASP. What does a wasp do? KILL BEES. And nothing else. I think you're saying "Well, we need bees to die so we need wasps like we need spiders". I doubt that you can compare a bee to a bug. Bees actually help us a lot, and wasps are ruining that. I'm sorry if you feel differently, I'm just stating the facts
@aniyah80
@aniyah80 9 жыл бұрын
Kyrakovic The Savior Actually, humans are killing off more bees than wasps could ever do, thanks to insecticide and other chemicals sprayed on plants. We're driving them to extinction. And those are the facts.
