Yes! I met Laura last year at the Seattle Flower Festival and we talked about how she wished she could do the black because she loves it too. They went with white because they have hard water and didn't want to see spots on the black structure. Thanks for the well wishes, nice to meet you! :)

Hopefully I can get a greenhouse video out soon. It’s a Hartley (Victorian Lodge). I think it’s 11x19 but I’ll have to double check that… Unheated except for a 120v (plug in) tiny greenhouse heater!

Most of them came with the house, then I just added a few where needed. Mostly repurposed the basalt- apparently Tacoma had a quarry nearby that has only recently been closed? Part of the town/regional history!

That tree in the corner's GOTTA GO. It's a mess on the patio and it IS going to be a problem for the fence. Those kind of trees won't regrow or put out suckers so even if you cut it down to just so many, say 3-6, feet, you could put a planter of trailing vines on it. Let's do lonicera japonica purpurea. 😁

Ha, I think I’m going to put Christmas lights on it this year… we’ll see how long it lasts though! It’s definitely not the nicest tree but I like that it’s established 🤷‍♀️

@@KendallsGreenhouse You'll have to forgive me. I live in a house built in 1910 and trees that are as estsblished as mine (6' diameter) become dangerous. Tens of thousands to cut them down and some are still standing. So when I see a potential problem and letting it grow means hundreds more to cut it down, I say head it off at the pass. So I'm biased about keeping potentially nuisance trees. I may not still be around but mark my wise words...You WILL be taking that tree down. Now we can do this the easy way or the hard way. 😂

We’ve been renovating our home for almost 3 years and don’t currently have access to the garage (where many tools will be stored). During different stages of the project, gardening supplies have needed to move around the property and mostly landed in piles around the greenhouse. I’m slowly tackling the piles, but I have ADHD so large, unappealing tasks are intimidating. Maybe these piles of pots and tools are a bit like the doom piles ADHD-ers get inside their homes? 🤔 Gardening has taken a back-seat until recently since the renovation machinery has done pretty extensive damage to the landscaping. I went ahead and started this channel now to show people what properties look like while people are working on them, instead of waiting until a few years down the road when the property is magazine-ready. 😉

First of all you are rude for saying it's a mess when clearly she is in the middle of a huge transformation! Can you show us your property? It's amazing what one will go through to get a green house like that! You must lack creative vision!
