This is in my opinion the best video you ever made.

It took Hornby a couple of decades and a bit of competition to realise that they should be building model trains rather than toy trains. American manufacturers were doing this long before Hornby. But yeah, you gotta love the classic look of British locomotives.

Too bad they didn't use a Phoenix Sound System, personally I found that factory sound system inadequate and sounds more like a shooting gun than a steam loco, the whistle and bell, not too bad, but overall that sound system needs to go. And for the price of that USAT loco and it being die cast metal, why skimp on the sound and smoke system in it? And in the video the reviewer states "add a small fan to the smoke unit", the smoke unit in that loco IS NOT fan driven at all, but air driven by one of the drivers and a piston configuration, if it were actually fan driven the smoke output would be so much better and stronger, even at lower {start up} speed. If I opted to buy one, both the sound system and smoke unit would have to be replaced with a Phoenix Sound system, as well as an actual fan driven smoke unit. Piston driven smoke units just can't cut it like the true fan driven units do.

Did the Colorado and Southern ever have any dockside locomotives?

After 4:40, did you say it should serve them "for about a year's dependable service"?
