Garden Trains: USA Trains GP30 and Matching Roadname Rolling Stock

We made a discovery about the USA Trains GP-30 locomoitve. Apperantly they made 2 different cab versions. Long Cab and Short Cab. The fireman's cab side (Left) on some particular road names is longer than the Engineers side. We call this the Long Cab. The Short Cab is the same length on both sides. We begun to document road names and which cab each recieved..

great video the only thing I would have to change is the couplers those are not cool lol they are like the thomas trains my son have I let him run his thomas stuff on my layout they I have to hook up the DC pack for him to use them but I will be installing dcc /dc decoders in them so they will work both DC and DCC so he can have fun

USA Trains always had nice cars and engines, I have several box cars. What ever happened to the G scale market ? ,It's seemed to have diminished very much.

Almost dead especially I don't know what's up with USA trains discontinuing everything from a few sd70s, this gp30, the j1e Hudsons, man those were beautiful. When everyone is home and bored. The g scale railroading business has the potential to go through the roof

i wouldnt say the manual is that great... it has nothing on dissasembly. i found that frustrating with mine.
