Coming to Ontario and visiting the garden center was one of the highlights of my summer. Monica was so sweet and kind. I just had the BEST experience. Everyone at the garden center was just so friendly. I can't lie I was super nervous to mention I was a youtube follower. (It kind of made me feel like a stalker or something.) They were all so sweet and excited to ask me where I was from. We talked about plants and garden stuff and what a hard worker YOU are. Seriously such a FUN time. Thank you for taking us along for updates on the garden center. We love it!

This video inspired me to get decorating and try that peach yogurt. I also like making all sorts of handmade decorations…I love decorating. Hi Laura, I absolutely must say, the content and regularity of posts is next to none. You do an amazing job on keeping us informed, inspired and depending on Ken’s edits - entertained. In late April we were on a road trip from WA to TX and we stopped in at Andrew's Seed Company and when I saw the vegetables in the windows I said "I saw Laura make those!" We met Laura's parents who were so warm and friendly. All the beautiful plants! It's like adult Disneyland! How satisfying to plant, harvest and create such beauty from your own wheat!

Thank you for ironing the orange material. I see soooo many design shows where the room is beautiful BUT the drapes or bedspread is a wrinkled mess because no one has IRONED them! Steaming things doesn't get all the wrinkles out! The window displays look great and are so creative. Plus I love all the fall merchandise your mother and sister selected.

Technical tip for you. You can put a circular polarizer on the camera lens and then when shooting the exterior windows you can rotate it to a point where it will cut out the reflections.

Suggestion : to purchase a small size steamer to steam out the wrinkles in the fabric and keep it at the garden center for future projects.....no need to get an iron and ironing board. I’m so jealous. In Houston, we’ve had no water for months even though everything is on drip and we’ve increased the water (frequency and quantity) everything is still dying. We’ve been well over 100 for weeks too. We will finally go into the 90s this next week. Even my poor lime tree got moved under my oak tree for some shade and is on drip and every afternoon it looks soo stressed. It’s so fun to see fall and pretend.

Your idea of wheat wreaths and fabric in your windows was simply beautiful. All the mums, marigolds, kale, viola, and pansies remind me that Fall is upon us which means cooler temperatures as we have had heat warnings here in Kentucky. yogurt bark: baking sheet, parchment paper, then spread a layer of yogurt (vanilla and sugar or honey to taste) over top of the parchment paper, then add a fruits (blueberries, strawberries, etc, nuts and place in freezer until hard. Break into yogurt bark and store in a freezer bag until ready for a frozen treat.
