Tell Benjamin "hi"! His waving at the camera is such a sweet and kind gesture. It makes me smile every time! The annuals are delightful. I planted some of that grass this year, and I really like it. That big sunflower reminds me of a wild flower that grows up every year with my rhododendrons. I've always called it Jerusalem Artichoke. It grows so tall and the yellow blooms are so pretty. The pond is beginning to look like its been there a while. It must be so great that the fish are getting use to all of you. So much fun. Thank you again for a wonderful time with you and the garden.
@heatherw.27512 ай бұрын
I had Jerusalem artichokes in my last garden and it was a total thug! You can actually eat the tubers. I’ve never tried them but some of the bougie restaurants around my area serve it.
@seanaames68552 ай бұрын
@heatherw.2751 Yes, Jerusalem Artichoke is super high in ogliosacacharides, which feed bacteria in your gut, sometimes causing gas. They're very tasty with butter and garlic.

You should make a Japanese-inspired garden around your pond, you already have the aspects of it. Add some Black pines, Japanese maples, rhododendrons. Pieris, forest grass, hostas, ferns. moss....it would be gorgeous!

Laura/Aaron/Garden Answer Team! Have you guys ever considered doing a Garden Answer book? Like pictures of your favorite flower bed layouts, favorite pot recipes you’ve done, even just your favorite views! Having different sections in the book for each season. Why stop there! You could even venture into a lawn section, recipe/drink section (that you’ve made using produce you’ve grown from your garden), outdoor/indoor/pond planting… It can be concentrated for each growing season per book, if that makes sense. I know I would buy it in a heartbeat!! I would love to just flip through the pages admiring your garden while brainstorming for mine!!!

So much fun to watch any tours and compare the progress in your garden with mine. I know that you find the heat overwhelming, but clearly, it gives the plants a great push for growth. everything is much bigger and almost a month ahead of our garden, although i’m 7b and I get to plant things earlier. I’m jealous of that. I also wish I could use the augers, but my soil is full of rocks. It looks so much faster and easier to get things in the soil. I hope to see a full garden tour (again) soon! Thanks.
