I really want to try the Tiara Blue petunias in my container plantings, and I saw a video last summer where a woman (in Chicago) had the new purple Dahlia you showed here, in a hanging basket and it was stunning! She had just one plant in each of her two hanging baskets on a terrace, and they were so full and filled with blooms! Because this variety of Dahlia doesn't grow tall, it was perfect for a hanging basket. It was lush and green and the thing that caught your eye was the big blooms, and so many! You're used to seeing full hanging baskets, but with flowers that have smaller blooms. This was such a different look, and I can't wait to try it myself.

Our girls attend the University of Delaware. Proven Winners has a trial garden there which I’ve enjoyed visiting each year. I have to say, I was so surprised as to how much I liked the Unplugged So White salvia. It was very impressive in the garden! Thanks for all the great as always.

I have had a few of the Alocasia's that I bring in for the winter. I live in Saginaw, Michigan. I have them around my hot tub in the basement. I have grown them for several years. I have given away several pups from mine and have two now. On of them has black stems with the green leaves. Alocasias are big and bold plants. One is about 7 ft tall next to the hot tub. Glad to see videos from Michigan.

Hey Heidi, here in NC zone 8A, coleus LOVE full sun and once established are relatively drought tolerant depending on humidity. The mini me series did WONDERFUL last year in full sun.

Hi Heidi! I am so excited for the 2025 annuals. Thank you for another great video! I really like the color combo of the Mini Me Chartreuse and the Aromagica purple heliotropium together. I want to plant those two in my landscape and wonder if I could layer them with Mini Me in the back and put the Aromagica in front but looking at the specs it seems like the Aromagica will grow taller than the coleus. What would you recommend? I am in a zone 8a and understand the Mini Me will do great in the full southern sun.

I’m in zone 7b NC and I do grow coleus. If I plant it in full sun I have to keep it very well watered. So I tend to plant more in part sun locations where they are shaded from out hot afternoon sun.

Enjoy the videos but would love to see the pic of the plant you’re referring to be left on the screen with the name under it the whole time you’re talking about it. As much as we love seeing your beautiful face and appreciate all your wonderful knowledge, we’re really here for the plants 🌱 🪻🌳🌾🌻
