Nice video thank you. Would have liked to have seen the actual turn on of the battery and what it actually does when you turn it on. Thank you for sharing the details.

$1,180 for 48v @ 100 amp hours in a convenient form factor with good build quality and features sounds good. I just bought two 12v 300 amp hour WattCycle batteries for $998 plus tax, free shipping, so I got about 1.5 times the battery capacity for almost $200 less money, which I think is also a great deal. If I had more cash, I'd buy two more of the WattCycle 300 amp hour mini batteries, and use them in series for a 48 volt system.

Does Mrs ReeWray know that these 'reviews' are just a great way to upgrade the home setup ;)

Why are you using an inverter and a AC power meter to check battery capacity? A DC shunt is needed to check battery capacity. Victron sells a 500A for $100 or so. According to specs, that inverter's self-consumption is 95W and has an inverter efficiency of 92%. You need to take into account both. Hence, why it's easier to use a DC shunt.

Yeah 95 watts x 24 hours is 2.28kw or almost half of the battery power is consumed just sitting there.

Could you please review the Ryobi 1800w power station. I own several Ryobi power tools and wondering how their power station competes on the market. Thank You.

I have a Ac180 bluetti and did a test run . House set for 64. Outside temp was 32. Live in Ontario Canada. So I’ll do in Fahrenheit for my southern friends. I ran just my furnace off of it and the unit lasted 4 hours 20 mins . And recharged it using a 3000 watt renogy inverter tied with 1 200 amp plus power queen battery . It took 1 hour and 22 mins to recharge the bluetti unit . Hope this helps anyone.

I have recently tried to run my central furnace from my Anker 767 Powerhouse (now named the Anker Solix F2000), but it would not work. I don't know if it is a grounding problem, or something else that is preventing my propane FAU from running while plugged into the Anker 767. Perhaps I need to update the Anker firmware?
@Bailey463Ай бұрын
@ how mine is wired . I cut the house wire running to the furnace, put a wall socket on one end and a plug on the other. When I need to run furnace through the bluetti I just unplug from the wall socket and plug it into the bluetti. Works perfect.

@@Bailey463 My furnace is in the attic, and I installed it myself a few years ago. It has a long power cord wired to it with a standard outlet plug at the end, and is usually plugged into an outlet in the attic. During a recent power outage, I unplugged the power cord from the attic outlet, and ran it through the attic access opening, to my Anker 767 Powerhouse, but as I said before, it would not fire up the furnace. The blower fan would run, but the furnace would not ignite. I'm puzzled as to why?

So, can the Sungold be controlled or monitored thru an App?
@ReeWrayOutdoorsАй бұрын
The inverter can be monitoring through an app, but not really controlled. The battery does not have any direct app connection capability.

I saw some of your old videos and you had the powmr, what lead you to switch brands?
@ReeWrayOutdoorsАй бұрын
Was just the opportunity to review something with a higher output (5kW vs 8kW/240v). I still use the POWMR 5K unit.
