Great review! My wife and I just ordered a couple of these bikes, arriving in a couple days. We are excited to use them to cruise around our neighborhood. I really wanted the Ride1up Revv 1 but the Engwe’s were so much more affordable.

Watched a number of reviews on this bike - best I’ve watched in regards to real world riding and cycling. Thanks for the review

Its a good budget ebiek but I prefer the dual battery with full suspension. I also would change the headlight to a Moto style headlight.

3:17 I checked the website and it says the max load is 264 lbs. So the 330 lbs must be the max gross including the bike weight.

I have one that I won in a giveaway. It is a fun e-bike. I might swap out the brakes over the winter.

I like the style of the bike, and it looks fun, but the seat height for me (I'm 6'1") would be a deterent. Currently have a RadRover5 (4"x26" tires) which I don't take on camping trips, as it's too big (imo) for just riding around campground loops. We do take the teenage grandsons RadExpand5's for them though. Don't know if I would like the Engwe's non-spring-return throttle where it stays in-place. Still a snappy looking rig though.

Yeah I think for riders 5'10" and up, this bike is a bit short if you intend to actively pedal.

I think you must have it speed limited in the P settings. It's definitely capable of 25 mph, I weigh 235 and I hit 25 no problem on mine. Go into P3 in the P settings and bump it up to max, and you'll get 25+ easy.

Ohhhh yeah....I'd meant to try that and it fell off my radar. I'm going to have to try that out asap!

It actually comes with the single battery M20.

Charge it up with your power station and use the sun to get you around. Does it charge while pedaling?

Doesn’t have regen like some e-bikes

I think it's geared for off-road. Let's see you on dirt trails and hills.

So kind of a no go for 6’2 riders?
@ReeWrayOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Yeah not unless you don't intend to pedal much and rely mostly on throttle power.

@@ReeWrayOutdoors I’m still waiting for a Goldilocks bike that ticks all of my boxes at a steal of a price. Like power stations, they seem to be advancing at a pretty good rate while prices plummet. I’m hoping for class 3, dual battery, hydraulic brakes, nice suspension front and rear, fat off-road tires, a chassis for a big guy and maybe reasonable weight but that’s not a dealbreaker. Also at a great price.

Beware, I received mine on Friday with a major issue with the front fork that makes the bike unrideable. After emailing the company they are claiming they will send me parts to fix it myself with a wait time of 15 to 25 days!!!
@ReeWrayOutdoors Жыл бұрын
That's unfortunate. :-/ I suspect this is likely because they have finished product in US warehouses for quick shipment to US addresses, but repair/replacement parts have to come from overseas supplier. Just my best guess...not that it makes the situation any less frustrating for you....
@hardcastlemccormic8655 Жыл бұрын
@ReeWrayOutdoors i'm sure you are correct. What a good company would do is either ship a new one and arrange to have this one sent back, or take the parts from a new one and send that unit back to the manufacturer themselves. It should never be put on the customer to have to wait it out like that due to their lack of quality control. This problem is hugely noticeable, and if someone even looked at it, they wouldn't have shipped it.

Definitely not an e - motorcycle

True...with a top speed of 20-25mph...can't really call it that. But it does ride like one, other than that.
