Thats why italian food bar none is the best food in the world because there are so many side dishes like this nobody in world cuisine can compare !!!!!
@fgs27326 ай бұрын
I love cooking Italian food But be careful with the lack of comparison to others. Caribbean food is just as involved and many dishes are similar.

@@fgs2732 italian food number 1 bar none? italian has 50 billion recipes? does the carribbean???
@fgs27326 ай бұрын
@@rockybalboap7763 yep. Don’t forget, many Sicilian dishes are African based just like Caribbean. Polenta in Italy is Fungi or Coo Coo in the Caribbean. My opinion , Italian food is the best out of Europe, then Greek food. But you may be surprised of all the variations of Caribbean food. Not animal part is wasted which generates many dishes.

At the end instead of adding Water I added Italian White Wine, turned out excellent. I generally prefer making authentic Italian dishes, I find a lot of American dishes too bland. This was very good. Thank you

Really nice, simple recipe (and simple is GOOD). And delicious. You describe the process well, stressing the important stuff and also the "why"s" of what you are doing. It's how we can learn to cook. One comment. Be careful with garlic in oil. If it burns, it is ruined to me (bitter). I usually cook until I can smell it well. But that's me. Thank you.

Funny. You pretty much just did a video on the way 80% of my meals begin. I wouldn't be adverse to throwing pasta in there and squeezing some lemon.... maybe some shrimp.......but I guess that's a totally different project! Thanks Jim! Love to watch you cook. You're a natural!

Is broccoli-rob the same as broccolini?
@SipandFeast3 жыл бұрын
No they are two very different tasting ingredients. Broccolini tastes very much like broccoli. I wouldn't consider it a substitute for broccoli rabe. Broccoli rabe is a bitter green veggie with a very unique taste that many people love. Here's a video where I sauteed it with garlic and oil: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmGxaWSEg95oqLM
