@@LifeNMore Mmmmmm🤤! I feel like I can smell, and taste it's yumminess right through my screen☺! Was wondering if Coriander leaves the same as Cilantro in taste? Asking, I only ever see cilantro, + parsley leaves, and only coriander seeds in the supermarkets. Is it okay to use one of these instead of coriander leaves? If so, then which one would taste the absolute best in this recipe? Can't wait to start making... LOL! Everyday🤤

Rolling and kneading was always my nightmares. So I don't usually waste my time to do these all, was buying the readymade chapati and paratha instead.This invention is saved my life. I am a Canadian Chinese mom who tried this recipe today with my 9 yr old daughter and she loved it. Ours didn't balloon up but it was delicious none the less. And entirely cooked through. We needed to add a little more water to our batter and we did adjust the recipe a little because we used our own homemade flavored butter but everything else remained the same. Thank you for sharing! So easy and fun to make. 💙

Made these tonight, came out well. Again not as puffy but I found that if I flipped it pretty early it puffed better and I also made sure I kept pressing it down and that seemed to help with the puffing up. I used 120g of flour and 200ml water. Will definitely be making these again next time I make a curry

Ok so I made these today and at first it was not puffing up (I oiled my pan too much). I then realized if you only press down on the sides, it will begin to puff up. So, first of all - this recipe tastes great!!! But two notes from my own kitchen - first of all, we had to add way more liquid to achieve the same consistency as the video. Second - we never saw ballooning at all, but the flavor was still amazing!! We'll definitely be doing this recipe again!!
@MIMMarketing2 жыл бұрын
No rise could be because you cooked it too long on one side in the beginning. That works for sure prevent rising. One minute at first each side should be ok. Or max 2.

@Mykidsarethebest.2232 жыл бұрын
Sadly I had the same experience & same here the flavor was good. What did you do to get it to rise?
@YouNeek_12 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you posted this, because I only saw a little ballooning. It NEVER puffed up the way it is shown in the video. I also had to add more liquid to obtain the consistency of the mixture. Here is what "WE" made: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oqfIZGdjns1neas I thought I was doing something wrong! So with all this being said, the flavors that I added to my mixture were amazing! I only wished that the "EXACT INGREDIENTS & MEASUREMENTS" were provided. There is no way to achieve the puffiness using the ingredients listed. #SorryNotSorry #SomebodyLyin' LOL!!!
@overseastom2 жыл бұрын
I think the ingredients issue comes solely down to it being a volume measurement for the flour, because "1 cup" to another could wildly vary in the amount of flour used, depending on how compacted it is in the scoop.

I made this today with the measurements provided. My first one puffed up a little bit, but then I think I had my pan way too hot. My consistency was also a little too thick and with the pan being too hot, they didn't spread out thin as they should have. I'll perfect it for my next batch. thank you.
