That was great. Literally just did this with my son this past weekend on a lake that we already know. “Hunting” first then fishing has been a key to more successful outings. The hardest thing is what you said at the end. Don’t just stop at the first spot you find fish. Otherwise, there could (most often are) more productive spots you’ll never get to.

100% Its worth the time investment every time! Sometimes it is hard though, you see a BIG suspended mark. I am guilty of once in a while throwing a cast or two 🤣

Hey Alex. If you trim your motor up you will get a better SI off the left side. I personally run two si ducers with a Y splitter cable for my garmin.

Yeah, I intended on using the SI but primarily used the 2 livescope transducers mostly. Very good tip on the trimming of the motor, I usually will do that when focused on the SI, but it took me a while to figure that trick out. If I start using it more I will look into getting one for each side, smart idea!

Alex - Can you please do a video comparing LVS34 Livescope clarity based on different Garmin screens? Do the improved screen resolutions really improve the Livescope image quality or is the Livescope image quality preset from the GLS10 feed and the screen resolution really doesn't matter? The EchoMap UHD93/Ultra106/GPSMap8610 should be the screens to compare as they are typically the most popular...

How are you recording your screens?

I am using Garmin GPSMAP 8610xsv screens that have HDMI out, and into this recorder to a micro SD: at.fish/4KScreenCaptureCard I also plug a lapel mic into the front of that recorder so that I get both the screen recording and an audio track to make syncing in editing easy to match up to other cameras / audio sources
