The biggest problem I have with my garmin is the power wire. I only have 1 12v outlet available in my bus so I have to use a regular USB wire. Occasionally the brightness will dim to 40% and won't let you go higher because you're not using their wire. It doesn't do it all the time and it is very frustrating because I have to deal with this nonsense while I'm driving and often when I have passengers aboard. Is it really worth it to squeeze drivers for more money on your overpriced wires?

Updated and shit what's this thing good for if you can't really charge it at home? I bought 1000 otr today for 800 and it's still just off because I can't charge it and figure out my setting before I set out tomorrow.

I really dislike randy mcnally but I have to give props to them for showing more truck stops along your route. I wish yall would do an update to show more. And make it so we can customize state border, weigh station distance notifications. Other than that it's really good.

i got 7 year old unit prob 8 still lifetima updates this one doesnt route any different prob better live traffic since connected to the phone internet thats only thing. everything else is pretty much same

I really dislike the new font. It's the same Helvetica font being used in every mobile device and I've seen websites switch from a nicer font to that for no apparent reason. Please restore the old one or at least make it an option. Also: when I ask for a choice of routes, please give me three rather than two, as was the case on the Dezl 770. (I have an LGV 700 and was disappointed to have only two choices, which are often a sensible option and a crazy option that takes a lot longer.)

Otr series is the biggest pos garmin put out to date. You hit rest areas in route and they are all wrong it will say 50mi you hit it and it's 300mi away in a different city. Big pos. Nothing but a $400 paper weight. Older models are way better. I even switched to rand McNally after buying this pos

I'm totally lost. I've used Garmin units for 15 yrs and I can even turn the unit off.. its in demo mode and I've gone thru the setup but watching this video did me no good. Definitely not for a low tech driver. It's been flashing supposedly helpful tips in demo mode for 24hrs and I can't so much as turn it off. Unbelievable.

You can disable the demo mode by driving around with the device, traveling at least 10 miles per hour for at least 30 seconds.
