Beautiful! I might have to check it out myself to catch the fall colors. Btw, congrats on the sponsorship! Those bottles look slick. Might have to consider getting one.

Garner was amazing during the fall. We had to check it out and see for ourselves. The collaboration was neat, you could get one too. If you put your email in the description companies will reach out to you. The water bottles fit what our channels all about 😊. What parks are you planning to visit over the holidays?

@@MrSTravelQuest Oh, cool I didn't know that. After seeing your videos I kinda want to visit Garner or Lost Maples or maybe both lol but I'm going to be in Austin looking at apartments during Thanksgiving break so I don't know, we'll see 😊

Heck yeah! New job and new place nice 👍. I love Lost Maples, but the fall colors the last 3 years hasn’t impress me. I decided to give Garner a try. I wasn’t disappointed. I have a few parks planned for next week. Aiming to visit 21 State Parks this year 😊

@@MrSTravelQuest Wow, that's a lot of parks! So you would say Garner is better in terms of Fall colors?
@MrSTravelQuest

I would say yes. I always thought Lost Maples was the only park to see Fall Foliage. Texas has plenty of parks to see that. The few videos I seen online made me want to check it out myself.

My wife and I were there Fall of '21 and plan on going again this year. We are in love with this place! Stayed 2 days at Inks Lake and the rest of the week at Garner. Took our own kayaks and had a blast. Your videos had an influence on which state parks to visit. Thanks for the great videos!

Floating on the frio amazing! It’s one of our favorite parks in the state. You can’t beat swimming in the cold crystal clear water in the summer. If you go, best time to visit is Mon-Wednesday.

Went there in the 70’s as a kid. Stayed in our van that was semi-campered out. My parents thought it would be a great idea to leave our leftovers out so we could see the wildlife. They showed up alright. A whole family of skunks 🦨 And of course, they got stinky 🤢 Everyone at the park was able to enjoy the wildlife that night 😁 Fond memories of this beautiful park. Hopefully I can visit again soon.

I think the Crystal Cave trail would be perfect for you! The older kids will really enjoy it. It’s a challenging yet short loop, and Garner has plenty of spots to swim where the water level is low. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. We love this park and want everyone to enjoy it!

It's not a Garner State Park time unless we all get on bikes for the decent. Cousin Klinton always ends up getting hurt. He wiped out descending Mt. Baldy. He is the cousin that always ends up in the ER. I don't blame Garner.

Do they check ur bags or vehicles ? Whats not allowed ? Such as glass or open containers ? Are there state troopers there ?

No bag checks, just no open containers allowed in the park (alcohol). They have park staff roaming about. It’s pretty relaxed and family friendly.

Does anyone know which campsite to get to have water access
@MrSTravelQuest
@MrSTravelQuest 2 жыл бұрын
All campsite has water access. If your wanting a campsite that’s closest to the Frio River we recommend checking out Rio Frio Camping Area. The Oakmont Camping area is nice too. I know water levels are currently low this year and they might have restrictions on water. I would call and check with them. Official number-(512) 389-8900
