Damn thank you so much!! I just bought my girlfriend a 150cc gas razor scooter. When it got delivered 75% assembled. I completed the assembly and my girlfriend was really happy and excited to try it out. Well that didn't last long when she went to ride it she pulled back on the throttle just a little bit and the scooter took off surprisingly fast I wasn't expecting it to be that powerful when starting from stopped position. She ended up crashing into the curb and now scared to ride it until I adjusted throttle

I prefer the LED BA20D bulbs. most suck, but I found a couple good ones. Bad ones either don't work at all or flicker horribly at different revs, and require Capacitors and other components to be wired in to your harness to eliminate it. After going LED I haven't needed to replace it, They're also much brighter (which is great for safety). If you do get the incandescent bulbs still, go with the Sylvania bulbs, they're half decent. Also keep an eye on your Voltage Regulator if you pop another bulb again, that's one of the first signs that your regulator is going bad. Lastly, avoid the halogen BA20D's, they run so hot, they'll melt your headlight housing. Also, while you're at it, put in an LED Brake light, you definitely don't want that burning out on you! They work great, and are easy to find.

Can that be achieved through carburator adjustment or through CVT upgrade or both? It has almost 5,000 miles on it; everything stock except CDI and coil. Thanks for the exhaust tutorial. Most useful as I'm replacing mine also. After that it's brakes. Oh another question I have is about wheel bearings? When/if they need replacing... Thanks again. I always wondered how they get the float bowl screws in the carb tight from factory
@Scooter_9113 жыл бұрын
They actually are special break-away screws. They have a regular hex drive head on them initially but when they bottom out they keep tightening them until they snap the drive head off. Leaving behind a "tamper proof" fastener

Hello, I have a problem, I have a Peugeot Speedfight 1 100cc that recently seized up/heat seized. It was not tuned. I then changed the cylinder, piston etc. It now starts up right away, but after a while it dies all of a sudden (as if you had turned off the key) and then I can start it right up again, this usually happens when I go over 60 km/h or uphill. When I changed the cylinder etc, I also cleaned everything thoroughly, such as the carburettor, intake, new air filter, new fuel filter (there was no fuel filter before) new spark plug. I also removed the oil pump and put a metalplate with a gasket over the hole instead, I now mix the oil directly into the gasoline. Some other info that might be important. - When I drive over 60 km/h, it starts to make a noise from the variator (CVT), it´s sounds quite a lot. - When it died, I tried to start it again while it was rolling and then it started right away, but it made a noise from the variator, like something "let go" that had been seized up, like a rubber sound, maybe from the belt. - The variator belt touches the variator cover on the inside and has grinded a cut in the metal. - In the variator, where the weights are, the belt does not go down to the bottom of the wheel. - The clutch bell had turned blue from the heat. - The place where the connecting rod attaches to the crankshaft had turned blue from heat. - There was no fuel filter on it before. But i now saw there is an internal fuel filter in the gastank, can it affect the vacuum if you now have 2 fuel filters. Please help me. Regards Andree.

I've got a taizhou mp50, which is like a generic tao tao with different plastics, and the exhaust bracket broke off the bottom of my muffler, so I just cut the bottom mounting bracket off, chopped the tip, tore the inside of the muffler out so it was no longer reverse flow, and welded a 2 inch piece of steel pipe off the bottom of a broken cattle gate on the end, so far its holding up great, i picked up 1mph on my top speed, and it sounds like a honda fourtrax now, even more so with the 100cc bbk I just installed yesterday. Also that's a LOT of backing out on that idle adjustment, the PDQs I've got on mine want 1 and ⅞ turns for sea level, and I'm only at 1000, so that's where I stick em, if I need too, adjust until the exhaust smells right
