I received and installed my 26mm carb from Rolling Wrench for my 2022 Icebear Maddog (Gen 4). What a game changer! I noticed right off the bat that I instantly had a lot more acceleration. It's too early to tell if I have a speed increase. It's been raining 🌧 but I'll definitely test it out and let y'all know. I also purchased the clocking flange however I couldn't use it. It made the carburetor too tall and I couldn't close the seat but so far I haven't had any issues. Thanks Rolling Wrench 🔧!

the problem with porting and polishing the fuel side of the carburetor is you're not breaking up the fuel as much. polishing the air side is great. but you would want the fuel side a little rough that way the fuel gets broken up more as it enters the combustion chamber so it burns more fully. kinda like pouring a little gasoline on the ground lighting it on fire it's gonna burn for a couple seconds and go out. now spray fuel from a bottle and light it as your spraying it. it's gonna burn for fraction of a second and be gone. same concept with carburetors.

@middlesiderrider2 жыл бұрын
Many 125cc scooters come with a 26mm carburetor stock. I have a 2008 Yamaha Vino 125 and the stock carb is a Mikuni BS26(26mm) CV carb. I bought the scooter missing it's carb so I first got it running with a CVK 24mm carb from a 150cc scooter, which is a very similar carb. It ran ok but when i put on the correct 26mm carburetor it made a big difference. Note that the replacement carb came with a 92.5 main jet which is too lean. The stock size on the Vino is 97.5, but they run even better with something a step or two richer, such as a 100-105.

One thing to keep in mind as I mentioned in the video. Elevation plays a huge roll in the size of carb you can use. For instance: people in Florida can run a 30mm carburetor on a 150cc. Us up here in Colorado can’t even run a 30mm on a 190cc. The reason for my recommendation is because it’s good to be universal. What if a Florida dude takes his bike to the small bore rally in Tennessee ? The bike won’t run. So yes, depending on your elevation you can run a bigger carb. Just keep that in mind

All i run is a 12" header pipe. Never gad an issue with it yet. I also am heavily modified and now requires the use of 105 octane fuel to be its most efficient. Check my vids out you may want to adopt some of the ideas i had.

My problem is i put a big bore kit and cvt kit onto my 50cc but over 1/2 throttle my moped putts or boggs. I hear it could be because of a too small main jet?

That sounds right. If you don’t want to guess. Get a wide band. Here is a link: www.rollingwrenchdenver.com/products/wide-band-o2-sensor-tuning-kit?ToPasteboard

I’m doing research to do a build on my sons go kart. It’s a buggy style, two seater, gy6 150. PLEASE understand, I’m not hating on anyone or what they’re into. But…. I just don’t get it. Could someone explain to me why the following for these scooters/ruckus? It seems like guys are trying really hard and spending a lot of money to do less than a stock small motorcycle will do. Again, not hating. I’m curious and here to learn.

This isnt a carb question but im in the middle of getting a scooter m.o t as in england and ive purchased mew forl legs as tubes really rusty and seals gone. but the nut at the very top of the tube is a larger diameter than the tube. is this just so the fork dosnt drop as i thought the top bolt did that by sitting in the groove...

My highest point in my state altitude is 5,276 and lowest is sea level the mean alleviation is 600 feet the setting on the carburetor I got from u had a 105 main jet and a 38 pilot already installed by u guys on the site it’s says pilot is 38 and main is 135 well I did a lot of testing on the jets and the 135 was boggy so I continued to find the sweet spot and I went back to the 105 main jet and the 38 pilot jet it had a little bit of boggy but not much I adjusted the air screw and made it a little better but it still wasn’t there so I ended up hooking up the purge valve tank and the boggyness went right away so with that being said it was just getting a little bit too much air I’m not sure what that purge valve tank does exactly but I would like to know?

Building a rzr 170 sxs for my son. Going from a 170 cc to a 61mm to 63mm piston with 2V big bore head, converting form air cooled to water cooled. What carb should I go with? BTW going to do a little port work and run a Curtis sparks X6 exhaust...stepped header. Im at 1400 elevation but will go to Colorado 5500.

Hello what does Plug N Play mean? I'm sorry I'm a bit slow, but I'm hoping you say that this is something and all I would need to make my Venom X18R/ Dfsst 200cc even faster?
