Jeremy was pissed he made that call Garret was valedictorian at his high school. Dude is on point I honestly believe he picks up micro-tells. He made that call after a few comments/questions He doesn’t stare the opponent down but glances/is subtle Have watched him play a bunch. Makes the right lay down or call so often on the river My 2 centavos
@phamnhat29253 жыл бұрын
Jeremy shouldn't be pissed. His sizing was wack. That is one of the best runouts for any hand that wanted to triple barrel, and if he's got a hand that could triple barrel, he would likely bet larger on turn and put Garrett all in on the river. Seems like he just made his decision on the fly here and he ended up betting a weird size that looked like he was trying to buy the pot. But Garrett also said "I gotta pay off here" which meant Jeremy probably used this sizing before as a value bet. So there could also be a huge leveling war between these two.
@dlove8773 жыл бұрын

Regarding the commenters question at 5:18 he has zero stone bluffs. The best Julie could hope for is Garrett having 5x, the x being 4 6 or 7. Would be an tough laydown, but I think it's doable with the flop was 4 handed.
@thisismyyoutubecommentacco63022 жыл бұрын
It's definitely doable. How many times do you expect to have a flop like that and someone doesn't spike a set, pair with straight draw, or two pair? Once she gets major action against her flop she has to think it's not a great move to continue, at best she's a 52% favorite against pair and straight draw, worst she's 90% dog against a set or 74% dog against two pair.

5:15 I'll answer the question what bluffs Garrett is reraising 8k with against an amateur he doesn't regularly play with? The answer is NONE. Live you exploit Garrett and just fold. She very lightly 3 bet pre out of position against 3 waiting to act. That eliminates all Queens, Kings and Aces. 746 rainbow flop she bets third of pot then Garrett raises full pot (133% original pot) also half her stack with a player waiting to act. It doesn't make any sense besides a set or suited connectors there is no range balancing here. At best she is calling for a chop because suited connectors with pair/open straight draw are about 47% there. I would say Garrett is heavy towards sets here and rarely has suited connectors. He never reraises with 87s either because you won't get many amateurs to fold overpairs. She should have 3 bet way larger. Making future streets easier to play and also more profitable. With a 2800 3 bet she could of made Garrett fold pre and Francisco to fold pre or flop.
@Stamps6003 жыл бұрын
Rarely has suited connectors refers to when he reraises flop since he has to fold out overpairs with the reraise also wants to keep in all her bluffs when he has suited connectors. When I say calling for a chop her expected odds at best case scenario are about 50/50.

Julie should have gone way bigger than 1600. Already over 1k out there with 2 people flating behind. She is in the SB so completely out of position for the rest of the hand which give even more incentive to raise bigger and try to get it heads up or take down 10bb without a showdown preflop isnt the end of the world either.

So Jeremy would never triple barrel bet the top of his range? I call BS. Bet, check, bet 100% of top pair/top kicker would be leaving money on the table, and lead to opponents playing good. Garrett was simply to deep to fold the value he was presented with throughout the hand. Jeremy has to bet more on the river there.

Julie deserved to get stacked. That is SUCH a small 3 bet. Considering your position. Raise to at least 2k. But nonetheless. The flop was a fold. Possible straight on the board, sets. But even if you tell me no one would play 5 3 suited, etc. They would if it opened from 300 then raised to 2k. That's not much more than 300.
