Played there once while on holiday, place was shady asf. Next table dealt two Ah on a board and there was no video to review?!? My table the dealer was shorting players with extra rake from players and taking minimal (no) rake from one player. I had to speak out after he shorted me on a split pot.
@vinni522 Жыл бұрын
Kept playing since I was on holiday and a buddy had joined me. Finally had to leave when this hand happened. Villain (buddy?) and a rec was in a small pot… maybe 10£? The board ran out boardway, Villain jammed like 600£ and rec can’t call due to rake. Rec called anyway. Dealer counted out the chips (wtf?!?) mixed the stack and redistribute (taking a full minute to shuffle and reshuffle)… and handed the stack to rec, who tossed in his cards. Villain / dealer claimed rec forfeited his pot because the hand was no revealed and it wasn’t over as villain didn’t get HIS stack and his hand wasn’t revealed either. Wtf?!?

Poker is not a business (it's a game) but can be perceived as one because of the tax consequences for those that choose to make it their livelihood. It's a game with net benefactors being hosts to the game. The hosts who actually deliver the "service" receive remuneration and consequently rightly can be viewed as a business. Poker players pay for the privilege to be seated by hosts. A player's contribution is one of supporting the host through participation in a game rather than providing a service or product through tangible effort. It follows that Nik's position about a player being "good for the game" through game related behavior has merit for the purpose of producing participation. Garrett may not have received the memo. Twitter is a cesspool of hate and it's not the best means to communicate. In sensitive matters in which Garrett is directly exposed....show up in person with an unbiased interviewer. Sit down and tell the story without the gamesmanship of which he's apparently become good at. This is not the time for a poker face if he wants the game to come back to him. Despite tax authorities viewing activities as businesses for their purpose...semantics suggest that "goods and services" are exchanged in the real meaning of the word.

Garrett, "its possible i was cheated." Any proof? No. OK so I will cheat out right, and bully & intimidate to take my lost $ back! Months later. After investigation showing no indication of any cheating, except Garrett keeping the $ he bullied Robbi out of.

It's a small thing, but I'm pretty sure Persson's "premature" grab for chips at 8:36 when the second T hit was no accident. That's generally a tell of strength, and Persson is a master of speech play and false tells. Oppenheim obliged and checked, relinquishing the betting lead, allowing Persson to bluff. The problem with bluffing these Broadway boards is it always seems everyone has a pair/SD, while someone has 2pr+, so bluffing here is just hard AF.
