Garrett Apex Viper coil vs Detech 11.5" Ultimate coil - 925 grade silver pendant problem

Thank you for the video, I'm thinking about getting a new coil, the Raider coil, I currently have the Viper. But now I see your video with the Detech 11.5... Would you say the Detech 11.5 Ultimate is a lot better than the Viper? And does it go deeper and have better signal separation than the Viper? Thanks !!! Does the Detech 9.5 Ultimate have as much depth and equally good silver detection/separation as the 11.5 Detech?

I'm absolutely horrified that Garrett are still selling the viper coil. I broke the lugs on my 9.5inch 'Raider' coil the other day, it finds silver pretty well, 9 pieces of silver in 3 months of use. I was getting almost one silver coin or jewellery piece a session. I have had to go back to the Viper coil and it's terrible, 6 sessions out and no silver when I am sure I should have had another by now. I am seriously considering buying this Detech coil now, thank you for the demonstration.

I'm also considering a larger coil, but a few months ago it was written here that if there is a non-original coil in the apex, he puts most of the silver coins in iron, so I ask if the performance of the apex has not changed when changing the coil?

Hi, it works much better with the Ultimate coils. I recomend the Detech 11.5" Ultimate. It's light and don't change the ergonomic of the device...and as you can see much better ID identification on silver
