Garrett AT PRO Fresh Water Hunting

I have had one of these for about 6 months. This is my first detector. I live on a lake and so far it is the only place I have used it. I am amazed at how many coins fall out of our pockets. I have found a couple of silver rings, a silver St Christopher and a lot of coins. No old coins but still fun. Once the Pro mode starting making sense and I started getting the hang of it, my productive finds to trash find ratio went up.

I absolutely LOVE my AT Pro. I'm close to PCB, FL and let me tell you, this is great on the beach, in the water, on land, where ever. However, it is NOT good to 10m. It's good to 10 FEET.

I just got my AT pro and took it out for the first time yesterday. Found my 1st Kennedy half. Upgraded from mxt pro. Wanted something waterproof. Nice finds guys keep it up

AT Pro is waterproof to 10 feet. It is recommended for salt water and fresh water use.

Excellent, i'v decided i'm getting one ;) It's my first one & i'v researched a lot of MD's & this one looks like a superior all rounder for what i'm after ;)

I've been looking for a machine like that. I read that it can go down to 10 feet in water.

nice find fellows...I hunt beaches here in mn. I need a good scoop like you have...what brand is it? I just use a hand scoop and im getting tired of bending over... thanks in advance, Gary

so it's only waterproof in fresh water (non salt water) ? would i be able to use it in salt water to?

Who is the manufacturer of the recovery baskets that you are using? Btw, very informative video as I live in North Dakota and am over a thousand miles from an ocean beach! lol.

My Ace 250 started freaking out when I set it down in the grass that had some morning dew on it. I guess one of the blades of grass got in the casing. Its working for now but I am definitly going to upgrade to the AT PRO

how deep with it detect a dime in hard pack soil with moisture anybody have concrete information ?? im thinking about buying one just wanna get the best bang for buck.

I love your channel. Very informative videos. Have you seen my wee rig set up for my AT Pro on my channel? The video titled "First day Garrett AT Pro" It saves me having to put my detector down every time and keeps both hands free. Also very handy in deeper water.
