Garrett vs Accupoint part 1 - Not good for the Accupoint - Nokta Legend

Bang-on man! These are the sort of videos that are needed, not the 'fan-boy' or 'yes man' NOMAD promo ones. Get the Accupoint up against the other top brand pin-pointers and give it a proper thraping. Listening to a pointer through headphones is total bs, imo. If the damn thing can't out-perform a Garret a Minelab or a Fisher F Pulse/Tek-point et cetera it's a 'no buy'. Keep things real, keep things simple, but very good. It's never been a chore to slip an ear-cup off one ear. Fe tone? I say bs. Your modern SMF metal detector has a plethora of tones and recovery speeds already. In my opinion, as an old former Tesoro swinging Brit.

And you shouldn't have the Same Swing Speed of the Legend Detector as you have on the Accupoint Pinpointer and the Garrett Carrot Pinpointer and the battery is getting low on the Garrett....

You can only go about 3 times of hitting the Buttons on the Garrett Carrot Pinpointer from the Full Sensitivity and you are using it on the Second Lowest Setting and then it's going Silent after the push and start at the top end and then see and it will go back to whatever you have it set up on, Once you take it off the Silent Setting And I'm not talking about the vibration settings and I have a video of the Garrett Carrot Pinpointer on my Channel and you can see and almost count the times that I was pushing the button and it will blank out all the Targets and the quick push of the Buttons again puts it back to your main settings....

(Most of the time) When I click my Garrett just once, it won't find anything after that, untill hitting the button again while it's out in open air. And maybe there's something in my dirt that the Garrett really likes or is attracted to.

@@HistoryLostNFound well if you are using it on the Medium Settings than you can only push it maybe 🤔 only once again and then it's silent And you have And are on the Lowest Setting before you get started with the Fine tune Pinpoint function of the Garrett Carrot and that's why I'm on the highest Setting for the Garrett Carrot Pinpointer all the time and then I can work my way down to get the targets... and I hope that helps you but that is what I have noticed in your video 🤔.... and if you can get the XP MI 4 Or 6 Pinpointer get it and I don't have one of them yet but I watched enough to know that I Do like the way it finds the targets and the tone of it and if you wait long enough they might have a update for the Legend Detector and the Accupoint Pinpointer and that's why I have the X-Terra Pro and No update is needed for it once you get to know what it's trying to tell you about what the target is going to be 🤔 and it Will 👍 and Also when I was using the Simplex + it was only using 3 Tone's of High Medium and Low Tone's and no Separation of target's and that almost the same as your legend detector just from the Sounds of it when it gets to a target and I have traded the Simplex to a Friend that was wanting another Simplex to detect with his wife and he traded me his Equinox 600 that wasn't updated from New, but it has the Update now and that's the first Multi Frequency that I have owned and I would rather have the X-Terra Pro compared to it And also it's using the Lower VDI Scale and that's totally different than the Years of Using the 99 scale and getting Use to the new Numbers for the targets and the X-Terra Pro will let you know when it's a JUNK Target And the great target unlike all the other Detectors that I have ever owned and Used and I use a lower sensitivity and it's still getting Targets in the 6-8 inch range and that's definitely Deep enough for me to dig and get the plug back to looking good and I use the Hinge Method and that way the lawnmower doesn't suck up the plugs and I also use a Probe to get some of the Targets out, but each one is totally different than the next time I have a great target to Dig 👍....

Try turning on pointer with end touching ground on whichever pointer you use. It ground balances pointer to ground. It's a good habit.

I took your advice in this last video I just posted and I would put the tip to the ground and ground balance and at least half the time after doing that and pulling it up from the ground it would immediately start beeping. And I would have to hit the button again. Is that what's supposed to happen? Or what do you think that is?

And I have heard that the XP MI 4 and the XP MI 6 Pinpointers are Both on Sale and Cheaper than the Garrett Carrot Pinpointer and the Accupoint Pinpointer and I heard that the price of the XP MI 4 Pinpointer is $89 and I haven't checked yet on if it's true and I Still think you need to get the X-Terra Pro and Quit the Digging Up ALOT of Junk Target's and the X-Terra Pro will let you know when it's has a junk signal target and then when you get to a Coin target 😮 WoW and possibly the battery is low enough on the Accupoint Pinpointer and also the Accupoint Pinpointer called the Beaver Tail a Iron Target's around the 41 minute mark and I just have heard you say about the XP MI 4 Pinpointer Get it,yes get it done and get the X-Terra Pro and it's going to be a great target detector for you....

@@bigedkc Give him some Credit, because we all have been there when we got started with Metal Detecting Bug and then have since learned that the First Metal Detector was Very Much a Joke that we got started with and then have since Learned and Very Much Upgraded to get something else that is Better 🤔 and I have had the Simplex + and I was recommended it to some friends but now that I have Minelab Detector's 👍👍👍👍👍WoW 😲😳 .... There's Alot of Difference between Manufacturers......

@@bigedkc Give him some Credit for it because it's his first time owner of a New Hobby of Detectors and I have started with some very different way of Detectors and then I went looking for something else that wasn't a Joke that had me Digging up every little bit of beep and then telling me that it's a totally great target, but now that I have a Few More Detector's that I have used and then the 50 years since I got the first one and it's not what he is using now, nor will it be that company again.... 👍..

Well usually when you get to the 3rd one it's the Old Saying of the Third Time your out and Good Riddance and the X-Terra Pro you can tell when it's a Pull Tab By the numbers that it gives that I have noticed and I think you're hitting the Garrett Carrot Pinpointer Buttons more than than you think you are doing and it's supposed to be a very quickly push of the buttons for the Fine Tuning but the Really Sad thing is the Legend Detector is telling you that it's got a great target and then the Accupoint Pinpointer with the 2 Tone Setup says that it's a JUNK Target when it gives you the Iron Grunting and that's why I love the X-Terra Pro and I can just push on the Horseshoe Button and check out the targets which is the All Metal Mode and on the Legend Detector it's a whole different program and then All the buttons that you have to push to get to it on the Legend Detector and it's probably a Single Threshold Tone and the X-Terra Pro it's still in the tone setup that you have started with and yes I am watching the video again and see if I see something else that is the problem and the Pinpointer is the Final Decision to where the target is at and it's coverage area is ALOT Smaller than the Coil is and the way that you are Swinging the Pinpointers and the tip is only about a 1 inch range and the long edges is only about 4 inches and then how quickly that you swing the Pinpointer is Way faster than it should be and good luck again and after the 3rd time 😢 and I have a friend who has just got the XP MI 4 Pinpointer and I will have to go ahead and try his out..
