This hits hard for me as a dad but what makes it hit even harder, just 3 days ago I was sitting just off the green on hole 6 at the short course listening to your dad talk to another older gentleman about how proud of you he is and how your love of golf and sheer determination are why you've come so far. As much as you want to give your parents credit for your success, I can only imagine that as a parent, your dad puts all of that success on you. We as dad's can give you every leg up in life, private coaches, a putting green in the back yard, driving you to tournaments, etc. But at the end of the day, there's only one person who has the ability to either put in the work and grind until they finally break through or break under the pressure and quit before they fully realize their potential. Your dad is able to see that it was you who put in the work, you who grinded day and night, you who grabbed your group of friends to not only help you reach greater heights but to also pull them up alongside you. This is why it hits so hard, because as a father who wants to give my son every advantage in life that I can, I can only hope that he exhibits the same amount of sheer grit and determination as you and the rest of the Good Good crew have.

I know this is older. But never take for granted having them around for as long as you do. I lost my father at 2 years old, and my mother at 21... when you lose parents that early, you feel like there's a hole that could never be filled, and will never be filled. This made me tear up, enjoy every moment you get Garrett, stay humble.

I played golf at my local club with a 15 year golfer and we chatted about our favourite KZbin golfers. I said mine was Grant, Luke Kwon and Bryan bros and he said Garrett Clarke. I thought the few videos I saw of you that you were a little cocky. But seeing how you handled losing the 4th game of the recent road trip challenge to Grant made me a big fan of you. You and Grant are the good apples that didn’t fall far from the very good apple tree.

I don’t comment on videos. Ever. But I felt like this was a great video to leave my first comment on. Like your Dad said, God has blessed you and I truly hope that you believe that. I have been blessed enough to make a career out of doing what I love but it absolutely didn’t happen under my own power alone. You and the Good Good guys make great videos that I can watch with anyone and not be embarrassed by language or any of the content. I appreciate that and you guys are all the more respected because of that. At least in my book. Keep up the great work and it’s so great to see you be a blessing to your parents after they helped you along your path. I don’t have a great relationship with my family anymore and it made me think about a lot of things. Also, I live in Texas now and have started golfing more after watching your videos so I am hopeful that I will run into you at some point! Congrats on being blessed enough to be a blessing to others and I wish you the best of luck in the things to come in your career. Thank you for sharing this great moment and God Bless.

Just by being the kind of man who wants to give back to your parents you demonstrate that their hard work has been worth it. It also shows the kind of person that you are. Leaving in the shots where you are emotional was a good decision. KZbin and the world in general need to see good, healthy emotions, and good situations. Thanks for bringing positivity in what you do. I have dropped all TV because it is garbage. Good Good, GM_Golf, your personal channels all have great content that is fun to watch and not like all of the junk that is invading media. I truly appreciate what you do and wish you all the best! Thank you to you and your folks for sharing this with everyone. You are inspiring and you do reach the young people out there. I was on the range today and there were a couple boys around fourteen in the next bays talking about the $30 vs $3,000 club challenge video and Garrett and Grant. They were playing Trackman range games against each other, bantering with each other, not cursing and having a great time. You had something to do with that. What you're doing has value. Don't ever let anyone tell you different. Keep being you and making good hearted content. When the time comes and you do get older, since you made such an impact on younger players, maybe you could mentor a new group of young creators to keep the message alive. All the love to you, the other Good Good guys and your families.

This is the best thing I've seen on KZbin in a long time. You can tell there is no theatrics or false flexing. Character is something you cant fake. Garrett is such a likeable kid and its no wonder he has a massive following. I'm 59 and now that I have built my businesses, I love playing golf. I cant get enough of these videos. They are fun, entertaining and I especially enjoy the fact that they are cognizant of the necessity of protecting the brand by keeping profanity out of the videos. This is a great young man with an incredible future.

Absolutely one of the best things I've seen on KZbin or any kind of social media. This is beautiful. Makes me wish I could have done this for my folks before they passed away. This beats Matt's hole in one. 🙂 I can tell you're a good Christian man Garrett. God has blessed your life.

Right on buddy. So happy for you. I'm 55. Can't work. No money. I came to tears as your mom opened the card and saw the check. Amazing. I will never be able to do that. God bless you and your family. Love your videos. Keep up the hard work.

I am a father, so I can speak from that perspective. I’ve been watching your(all of the group) videos for a while now. I knew from the very 1st video, that you guys were all really good kids. I’m sure that your parents are SUPER proud of your success but even beyond that, they can be proud of themselves for raising such a good man! It’s comforting as a parent to know that your child can provide for himself so much so that he gave back. Never met any of you but I feel pride in all of you guys success. Keep going because there’s no limit to what you can accomplish!!!! Vlog of the year!!!!😂

Don't think Tammy's going to be pissed at this! Amazing video Garrett, you're an inspiration to us all. I don't usually get emotional watching a youtube vid but this one deffo pulled on my heart strings. Also the self awareness to understand how much your parents did for you is amazing, can only wish I can do something similar in the future!

It is such a blessing to watch wholesome and humble content from young people. We see so much nonsense on social media, to know that there are honest hardworking and honorable young men who respect their parents and are trying to do good for the community is refreshing and uplifting. Thank you Garret Clark and the Good Good community!

Don’t do this to me! I was about to start crying in the middle of class. I’ve always dreamed of the day like this giving back to my parents for all they have done for me through the years. And I’m proud to see you become such a great KZbinr from the beginning of your first channel, I haven’t been a subscriber for a long time but I’ve followed you from pretty much the start.

@@topgunsam If nobody posts videos of good things they do, all we see is negative 24/7/365. Not complaining one bit about a guy who busted his tail giving back to his parents who have supported him throughout. The viewers and clicks are the way he generates income, they want to see things like this. In fact, I've gone through a lot of comments, this is the first negative one I've seen.
