Okay, as a witch I can confirm YOU ARE A WITCH, Garrett. I would even go so far as to say you are arguably one of the witchiest creators on this platform xD You hold onto little things because of their energies, you commune with animals, you seek out spirits and metaphysical entities, you set intentions - you're 1000% a witch. Welcome! ^^ :D I can't tell you how many times I've been talking to other witches about the little things we collect, but having jars, plants, natural elements (like leaves and acorns), and/or old artifacts are classic choices.

I love that when Garrett has to explain the video or some kind of activity, he doesn't just explain it with simple terms. I love the WHOLESOME WITCHY BOI goodness of this channel! Garrett, thank you for being the purest human on the planet!! The reverence you hold for the places, people, and objects of the past is so loving! My "ritual" is putting on make up after doing self-care... I need to be alone with my thoughts and indulge in quiet. I don't mind the house noises of my family in the background doing their thing but I really get amped up with anxiety when someone comes in to ask something of me that could really have waited. I don't mean emergencies or anything vital or if I hear my daughter call for me. I am tuned into the normal sounds of my household. I just don't enjoy having a conversation that could have been brought up later while I'm having my time. I have to basically reset my vibe and start over relaxing. Also, I greet the twilight every day as it is my favorite time of the day and the moon when I see her. I do read tarot and oracle cards, and I must listen to music when I am working on my art and jewelry for my shop... music is a soothing, emotional, beautiful thing and I just feel like what I make is imbued with those lovely intentions I'm feeling and giving off... idk if this is what you particularly meant but these things are just a part of me. As someone who practices witchcraft and also works with certain entities, I find this video so cool!! It makes me so happy to see one of my longtime-favorite KZbinrs making content about it :D! Some of the ritualistic things I enjoy doing are reading tarot, lighting incense as offerings for the diety I work with (realizing just now to some people who are less familiar with this kind of stuff how strange that might sound lmao), and also setting up a nice environment for reading new books I find on mythology and other topics I’m interested in (usually it includes putting on some relaxing music, lighting a candle, and dimming some lights to make the atmosphere more cozy and more stimulating, as someone with adhd I find doing this helps me focus a lot better). As a Severe OCD sufferer, my life is filled with rituals, usually unwanted but necessary for my brain…. BUT I do this too when watching certain movies/shows! Or if I’m writing in my journal, I’ll set the scene on my antique desk & tornado lamp, etc…. I jokingly but not really jokingly call it “playing make believe” to those who don’t live inside my head but are in my presence at a time I feel like doing this!…. You’re awesome, Garrett. This channel is awesome. I love listening to you talk about things that matter to you. I just love it *here* 💞 And I really want to sit in that cozy room (without that picture/mirror/chair set up, probably haha)

@starburstds2 I feel the same way! It makes me happy to see someone just totally being themselves and letting their personality shine through, not repressing anything for society and the judgemental people around us you know? @Garrett Unhinged you are an inspiration to all of us weirdos 😂😊💕

hey garrett! i'm so happy that you felt like you could share this with us. as someone who does moderately practice witchcraft, sometimes leaning heavily into spiritual things can feel very silly or strange when you have to explain it to someone else! it's incredibly validating to hear that you have these little activities and rituals too, because they are SO important to establishing a good energy! my personal little ritual is that whenever i am journaling about spiritual growth, i will get a very specific kind of coffee, get out one of my favorite pens, and go sit by the same grave in my favorite cemetery while i work! it is so comforting, and puts me in the best state to really open up and feel comfortable doing work with energy. the person at the grave i visit feels like a friend at this point, even though they passed away in the 40's and i never could have met them. explaining that connection to someone who doesn't also believe heavily in spirits can make me feel a bit crazy. it's so nice to hear that other people enjoy similar little activities! thank you so much for this video!

I truly love the style of this video, it reminds me somewhat of your older content and I’m here for it!! There’s something about your personality that’s so inviting, my spirits were brightened the moment the video started. Even with the spookiest topics, I somehow feel more at peace than I did at all today. Thank you for being you, Garett ❤

I just want to say as someone with adhd how comforting it is to watch your videos because while I don't want to imply that you have it too, I finally can relate to someone who also realizes that their thoughts and ideas are well, unhinged and just all over the place 😆 But really, I do want to say thank you for providing the serotonin 🙏💕

Every full moon I take out my tarot deck and try to see if I can gain some insight into the next month. I'm not great at reading the cards, so I always have to use the book that came with it. But it feels good to have that one constant thing I do that isn't a "chore." It's been hard to keep up with it lately, anxiety has kept me from wanting to know what comes next, if that makes sense. But this channel has been so amazing for my mood/spirits. You're such a pure spirit and I love being here with you in this crazy world we live in! Thank you!

GARRETT please I feel so seen rn the amount of 'ritualistic' things I do before reading a book, or watching a movie or gaming (specifically when in my own room and can be myself) I get you so much

I love this so much! You’re a gem. In the mornings when having my coffee or tea I stir my drink both clock wise and counter and think about what I want to bring into my day going forward. I think of positive intentions and outcomes and speak, sometimes out loud, self affirmations. Then I think or speak what I want to release from my mind, body, spirit before heading into my day. At the end I tap the side of my mug three times. The days I wasn’t able to do that just felt odd! I love hearing others ritual habits Love you Garrett ✌🏼🌻

i’ve recently been working to get diagnosis & treatment for a chronic illness that’s essentially shutting down my body. during, i’ve been rewatching all of garrett’s content as part of my youtube cycle to keep myself distracted. i don’t think he really knows how much of an impact he has on those of us that have been here since the beginning. i hope that soon garrett can truly recognize how important he is, especially in this space. maybe he’s already aware, but everyone needs a reminder once in a while.

You can tell that you definitely intuitive and sensitive to the "other side." I have many friends with this gift and you use it for good. I think benevolent beings are naturally drawn to you. You are a pure soul. When you asked one to step out for a bit, he/she obliged immediately! Well done, as always!
