I totally understand that Garrett has not been able to stop thinking about the building for 5 years, it is beautiful and magical, not even being there I can imagine thousands of stories
@hawkeyescoffee63992 жыл бұрын
I can understand being obsessed with it too. And I understand some haunted buildings literally will not let you forget them. I've heard similar happen with a woman who bought an old empty hotel (only a small one though, nothing the size of this) a few years after seeing a light in the window when she had been just driving past on her way to work one night; she couldn't get it out of her head. She'd gone away and learned everything she could about it, and couldn't track the owner. She used to have dreams about the building if she didn't drive past it often enough. Then it came on the market and she & her daughter bought it together. And the nightmares really began because it was horribly haunted, one ghost never wanted them to be away from the place and another didn't want them there (random scratches on them etc). They ended up leaving it & having to go through several spiritual cleansings and force themselves to be away, she likened it to having an addiction & trying to break it. I don't always believe in haunting but the things she shared couldn't be anything else. So, I understand not just being taken with it because it was a gorgeous building, but also because sometimes the "residents" want you there. However, what I don't understand is why he hadn't done more research on it's history sooner lol.

It’s ironic Garrett said “some people might’ve had their best memories there” because literally in the beginning of the video I got this random thought that he’d been there in a past life and really loved the place. Then when he arrived… how he kept saying he was tied to it, how it’s KNOWN to be unchanged due to it being historically protected and thus would be insanely recognizable, and how he said “it’s not bad” as he had his hand in his chest. I feel like maybe he is tied to this place and it was a very happy place for him in a past life.

it would be so cool if that was actually true.......and what if Garrett is actually haunting himself?!!! I don't know what the "rules" of all of this are...I guess if you are reincarnated, your spirit would be in a new being, so your spirit couldn't "haunt"...so my idea of him haunting himself might not be possible......unless there is a new version of yourself each time you pass away and are reborn., and the old version of yourself stays behind to help guide you.....who knows...it sure is a neat concept. I love all of this haunting/spirit goodness

@@JennHowland I’m a skeptic HOWEVER some people believe many haunting aren’t actually sentient beings but the energy of an event sort of replaying throughout time. An imprint. So if theoretically he lived there or visited there and had super happy memories, part of that current energy could’ve imprinted upon the location. Making it possible that he, in fact, is in a way haunting himself. Energy doesn’t really follow us from other lives I wouldn’t imagine. I believe our substance of our soul is a bit more than just energy. Maybe it’s not. But either way I’m sure we lose and gain and take and destroy if past lives are a true thing. So perhaps it is possible..
