I don't think it was a coincidence that this happened shortly after Ian Roberts was outed as being gay. I could be wrong but I've always guessed that this was a result of distasteful sledging, in which case Roberts may of went overboard but Jack did bring it on.

I watch 360 a lot and especially around origin time the seem to lament the old days when the punches could be thrown and tackles could be high ish. The league has been great this year, but it seems that for done it’s not enough, and the game is diminished because of the no punch rule.

Kieran Jack & his brother Brandon both played AFL for the Sydney Swans & Kieran Jack was a very successful Captain, unfortunately their family spat was made public 7 tore the family apart.
