Garry's Mod Map Review: gm_fork

So much work and well spent time must have been invested in this map, the map is purely beautiful and has still complexity and an interesting atmosphere, this is now one of my favourite maps! :)

this is way better than big city or any map for that matter, if more building could be interactive, that would be amazing since most buildings could not really be accessed.

L yup, there are alot of things to do in it, whether if it is to roleplay or test items out since there is alot of flat land and water, and there are hardly any missing textures so not that many sources are needed, and absolute master piece of a map, like I said, more buildings were you can go inside of, and the map is a pure 10/10.

I love this map.There's a grave where you can take an underground tunnel to a cool underground base, which is where I make my own secret HQ

Gmodism Total Nerdery Channel I agree. You can find it at the church. One of those graves in the graveyard is shaped like a house, but the door's open and when you down a stair case, you'll end up in a room for a bunch of coffins. When you turn to your right, you should see a hole in the wall, and the tunnel is right there. And right at the end of the tunnel, there should be another hole that's blocked off with wooden crates, and when you noclip through that spot, you'll end up in a cool underground room where you can set up your own secret HQ

yeah today july 10th 2018 i saw this tunnel too! i was just using nextbot zombies 2.0 just some PvE.. and then boom i saw this shack thing and there is a tunnel with a red flare and an HQ there. i deleted the invisi barriers to see where it goes, to the rail tracks! its a very beautiful map! and i tought the tunnel was an update too xD

Small map to me. 500 miles across would be a "Huge" map to me. Gmod sucks. It's optimization sucks. 0/10 Of performance at all times, It either lags, crashes, or freezes for no reason.

I love it, the actuall map, but the only problem is, is that it glitches the Photon Lighting Engine out... The sirens and stuff are fine, it's the lights, like no blinkers or emergency lights.

Because it is so large and it contains lots and lots of objects which all are loaded in at the same time.

Gmodism Total Nerdery Channel Yeah, I knew that reason. Unlike other games, G-Mod aims to render everything at once; where only a computer that is another decade ahead of the future could run this at full speed with vsync on. It drops to 30fps when I run it with vsync which is kinda depressing since I have a high-end rig now. It does give off a cooler effect, though. Like, the buildings map for instance where I can look on the top of a building from miles away and see a zombie. I know some games allow those far rendering distances, but G-Mod is my favorite due to all the stuff you can do in it.

I feel the same, gmod is very flexible and thus so fun. What is needed is an update of the game engine to the newer source engine to make the game up to date, that, however is complex and might take time if they will do it.

I doubt Half-Life 2 is in Sweden. Just walking around the streets of City 17 all the old wore down signs and posters that were built by the city pre-Combine take over are in Eastern European text. Bulgarian to be specific. The city also looks heavily influenced by Eastern European architecture. The gas pump (ph-hump as we pronounce it in English as you couldn't seem to find the pronounciation to say it) in Swedish could just be a mess up that nobody corrected.

this card is very demanding on the hardware of your pc; for example, it gives me a maximum of 14 fps or a minimum of 3-6 fps so if someone decided to download this card to a weak hardware, I don’t recommend personally checking it by me! good luck :)
