Gary Killed It As Always, But Hey, I'm A Keyboard Player, and Bernie Worrell is A Huge Reason Why I Play Keys, But Unfortunately Despite The Many Killer Synth Bass Lines By Bernie On P-Funk Records Over The Years, It's Very Rare To Hear Him Actually Play Synth Bass Live, In Other Words, Usually When P-Funk Plays Synth Bass Anthems Like "Flashlight," "One Nation Under A Groove," "Not Just Knee Deep," "Aqua Boogie," etc., Despite The Record Version Of Those Songs Having Iconic Synth Bass Lines On The Tracks, Played By The Likes Of Bernie Worrrell and Junie Morrison, Usually When Playing Live, P-Funk Would Simply Cover Those Tunes With Electric Bass, So It's Really Refreshing To See This Video Clip, and To Hear A Legendary Song Like "One Nation Under A Groove" Done Like It Was Recorded, With Bernie's Killer, Signature Moog Synth Bass. Btw, I Never Knew That Bernie Plays Synth Bass With His Right Hand! Wow! Most Key Bass Players I know, My Self Included, Tend To Play Their Bass Lines With There Left Hand. Just Shows Another Reason Why Bernie Was One In A Million! R.I.H. Gary and Bernie! I'm Sure That Heaven Is A Holy But "Funkier" Place Since You All Arrived! Peace Out! 🎹
