Thank you for this video. It always amazes me how people find little tweaks to make stitches better. I'm relatively new but I know that a Garter Stitch is a combination of a row of knit stitches followed by a row of purl stitches. With the Garter Stitch cast on, do you only do the purl stitch as you demonstrated or do you go ahead and add a row of knit stitches on top of the purl row to complete the cast on? Thanks!

You're very welcome! As demonstrated in the tutorial you ewrap your pegs for the first row. In the second row going back to your first peg you uwrap the end peg, purl each peg on your way back, and uwrap the end peg again. This method is the same as a typical application for flat a panel Garter Stitch except in my alternate method you uwrap the end pegs instead of purling them. After the initial cast on Garter you can work your Garter Stitch as normal or any other stitch as you desire.
