On May 10, 1995, Garth Brooks won two awards at the 30th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. He won the Video of the Year award for "The Red Strokes" and the Jim Reeves Memorial Award. On November 15, 1994, Garth Brooks' single "The Red Strokes" was released to country radio stations. The song was written by James Garver, Lisa Sanderson, Jenny Yates, and Garth Brooks. The music video for "The Red Strokes" premiered on CMT on November 19, 1994, and was named a "Hot Shot." The video features Garth Brooks rising from a red puddle in an all-white room, wearing an all-white suit and standing barefoot in a white piano. As the song progresses, different colors of paint, including red, blue, and green, splash across Brooks and the piano. During the instrumental break, another Brooks stands over the first Brooks on the piano, wearing a black and red outfit. At the end of the video, the scene returns to all white, with red paint running down the screen.👍

Love Garth Brooks so damn much. He is one of my favorite country music artists in the world long with nother country music greatest artists, John Michael Montgomery. Love you both

I have the video vhs of this music video, which has a part about how they made it. The red paint had to be diluted in order to be sprayed and dumped all over him. It's been 30 years since I've watched it but I believe they had to mix the paint with mud because they were using so much of it.

My mom and I had the two worst seats at a concert of his but we were just happy to be in the building. A lady came around and offered us better seats and figured it was a scam but she said if we didn’t like the better seats we can keep our tickets for our original seats, we decided to trust her. She said it was common for Garth to hold back some good seats specifically for the people in the worst seats. We were shaking as she led us not just to the front row but almost dead center!!! I got to touch his boot!! This was in the late 90’s. We called my dad from a pay phone as soon as concert was over and he didn’t believe us at first. We were covered from head to toe in blood.

No, you don't get taken from the seats you are seated as per your tickets and moved to better seats front row almost dead center. You just want to sound like you are an important person. What ever tickets you bought those are the seats that you have to stay in Try again

@@Lynnm-100why are you so bitter? It must be a miserable life you lead to come onto KZbin and try to discredit someone else’s experience just because it didn’t happen to you. Try being a better human being

I was picked up hitchhiking by Troyal Garth Brooks, it doesn't surprise me Mr. Brooks would do that. He loves his fans like family.
