gaetti was great until he turned into a religious nut job, even hrbek said in his book that ended their friendship, tom kelly used to get upset when gaetti would DEMAND the team PRAY before going out on the field, and if a player refused gaetti wouldnt try as hard for them or would ignore and ostracize them, he's about as republican as they get nowadays which is sad for minnesota fans!

He is an overlooked player. He's around top 30 all time in WAR for Third Basemen and overall solid numbers 99% of players would kill to have.

5:25 I wonder where that lawn chair ended up? If there was a Minnesota Sports HOF, that chair belongs there…the sitting, relaxed, almost comatose Gaetti who was as intense a player the Twins ever had is something I always recall from that ALCS.
