In my 30 years of being on this earth, Mr. Griffith has and is most likely to be the best Commissioner of Police ever, in Trinidad and Tobago's history. His several implementations, strategies and also his approach to curbing crime was beyond excellent. This is the attitude needed of whoever has to be Police Commissioner in T&T in this current time.

During Gary’s tenure as commissioner the perception of police was increasing, high profile drug busts were also being conducted and criminals weren’t as bold to show off firearms. Gary was also targeting corrupt officers. Crime reduction is not only dependent on the commissioner but all stakeholders and ministries of the government. In addition i dont usually advocate for Kamla, but under the PP murders dropped from 500 to 300 while Gary was minister if national security. If he was still believe it would been better than having Erla

He was very sensible in his approach to the gangs. You can’t stop fully what is already established but if you develop some form of control it can minimize casualties by decreasing confrontation. Trinidad needs someone with a plan and someone who is trained properly in the counter measures needed and not just political pawns. Gary was dedicated to making an actual change.
