Yetta Levitt is the woman in the picture at 1:41. In addition to being on WQXI with Gary McKee, she was also on Channel 11 WXIA on the Noon news occasionally. Through the mid-1980s, if I recall... At one point, Gary McKee was on LITERALLY HALF the radios in Atlanta. Seriously -- no exaggeration. 50% of all radios in the Atlanta area were tuned to Gary McKee every weekday morning. No one has *EVER* done that before or since. Man, we lived through a *GREAT* era of music, didn't we?!

I had the pleasure of hearing Gary McKee in the spring of 1982, after staying overnight in Atlanta. At that time, his show was simulcast on the FM, which was at 94.1, but I think the AM and FM were separate the rest of the day….
