I believe there is only one other video of this on KZbin but this one is WAY better quality...other than that i'll let his music do the talking.

I play this game when I watch KZbin guitar videos. I try to guess how many comments I have to read before I hit the ubiquitous "underrated" comment. Bingo! You win! Very first comment. I'll sit here an ponder how one of the most well respected guitarists in the world could possibly be "underrated" while I enjoy the rest of the video.

Gary and Jeff were friends and Gary regarded Jeff as being the best living guitarist whilst Jeff said that Gary had the whole blues thing wrapped up. I feel somewhat proud to live close to where Gary grew up in Belfast. It is a pity that Clapton wasn't interested in sharing a stage with Gary but then again, most players seemed to have feared for their reputations where Gary was concerned !

This man (along with Rory Gallagher) is the best Irish guitarist in rock 'n' roll/blues history. I feel blessed that as a very young man, I got to see him, thanks to my much older brothers, who were a huge influence on my musical taste, and although I don't necessarily have the same respect for my elder siblings, due to other factors non musical, I will always be grateful to have been taken to some life changing concerts, such as Gary in the Hammersmith Odeon, and a Thin Lizzy concert in Dublin, in the mid 80's, I think the venue was called the RDS. One of Lizzy"s last ever gigs. Something to tell my grand children, if I ever have any. Gary Moore, you will live on forever through your genius. Richie.

@stratmagic68938 жыл бұрын
+mikeyowen this might not be Peter Greens LP but you are wrong about the color of Greeny-it is a dirty faded lemonburst not a cherry burst-as for the PU covers being off they may have switched them from time to time-the Gibson Collectors choice model called the Melvyn Franks is actually Peters guitar and it has the covers on and Grover tuners but the later Gary Moore Model from 2000 (which I own) has the covers off and Kluson style tuners-both of them have the pickguard off- he might have had his tech switch things up-the guitar in the clip is definitely not shiny and looks old to me-maybe they rented it for the show-either way Gary was great and is missed
