Going to see a thin lizzy tribute band tomorrow night and I have never played them or seen them or a tribute band and I'm 47 so not old enough or lucky enough, but it's why I play , I may have a heart attack and die happily during the gig

I grew up in Dublin & remember seeing Phil Lynott in town. He was unmistakable. Huge black Afro. Sprayed on jeans & An Afghan coat. Well it just couldn’t be anyone else. Gone way too young 😢😊

Tears are just poring down like a waterfall! I always cry when I hear the first guitar tune on this song. But these two together, om my, it was ten times more intense! Phil singing with that cool as fuck style of his and Gary is just amazing as ever. Two beautiful, brilliant young men doing what they do best!

@@georgebarnes8163 Phil was full blown Irish, he grew up there lived there that was his identity genetics isn't everything. Gary was born in Belfast NORTHERN IRELAND which is in the UK but NOT Great Britain. Two Irishmen.

Gary was full blown British from the UK, I went to school with him and can assure you he was not Irish in any way. The most basic search on the wonderful internet would have given you that information.

BRILLIANT, I saw Thin Lizzy LIVE in late 70s at Dalymount Park, Dublin, Ireland, and they were magnificent, absolutely one of the best gigs I was ever at. Rest Easy Gary and Philo, both badly missed. Thanx for all the Fab music and song.
