@@marymargaretmoore9034 youtube.com/@robertphelps1574 Robert is correct. Greeny and Stripe look very similar. The easiest way to tell them apart is that Greeny has chrome covers over both pickups and Stripe has exposed black pickups without chrome covers. Greeny is supposed to have a fantastic sound when playing the out-of-phase neck pickup, but in this video Stripe sounds phenomenal when he plays the neck pickup. Kirk Hammett of Metallica now owns Greeny and plays it in concert rather than keeping it locked away in his basement.

I saw Gary Moore live in concert three times, the last occasion in Oxford in October 2009. I was so shocked when I heard about his death just over a year later. Gary was on fire that night, his performance was extraordinary. I only read recently that one of Gary's biggest admirers was George Harrison, and that they were near neighbours in the Oxfordshire town of Henley. Gary was a frequent visitor to George's house where they would spend time swapping music ideas. Gary covered one of George's songs "That Kind of Woman" with George playing slide and rhythm guitars and backing vocals on Gary's 1990 "Still Got the Blues Album". I was so surprised that he wasn't more successful in America.

I was lucky enough to catch Gary Moore live in Glasgow in the late 90s. He played Still Got The Blues, and it was fantastic. I experienced partial hearing loss at that concert. I was stood about 10ft from a Marshall stack and it took me about a month before I could hear properly again. Totally worth it though. Amazing concert. Such a shame he died too soon, he was great.

The looks on your faces are absolutely priceless. The expressions on your face say everything that you’re feeling. You don’t need to add words even though it’s nice that you do, your expressions say it all. I was born in the 60s And was fortunate enough to be a child, teenager/young adult in the 70s and 80s and I’ve been fortunate enough to grow up with all of this great music. one of my absolutely top favorite guitarists. be it hard rocking or heavy bluesing - always amazing! This may be the moste beautiful of his songs with a masterful recycling of licks from his previously most beautiful "Parisiennes walkways". But I love his playing and composing in all - From "parisiennes walkways" to "dancing" to "run for cover" to "after the war" to "over the hills and far away" to "still got the blues" to "Oh, pretty woman" to "murder in the skies" to "out in the fields" to "jailbreak" to "boys are back in town". There are songs I like less than others, but there hasn't been a playlist I've made without at least a few of his pieces of his. A beast on guitar and honey in the voice.
