You can tell a good artist... As they still have it many years later. This new stuff is still has the old feel but in a new way ... Does that make sense ? Full of life , energy and so powerful.. He is the father of electronica music. First album i heard was Pyramid (still have it )

He is better than ever live. Band's live playing is awesome and Gary's Vocals are spot on. Seen Numan several times and he goes from strenght to strenght. Awesome live show full of energy - compared to his earlier stuff, this has much more energy and good vibes to it. Glad to see him relevant in 2018 as much as he was before - though some NLB's must be stuck back in 1980! Love to see more of this DVD

If you A/B the studio and this version you will notice there is a slightly different cadence to the vocal melody line. Live recordings are difficult. Sometimes they will use overdubs to correct problems that occurred during the recordings. I have sen whole live shows edited to the actual studio recording. I don't believe this is one.
