I actually got the new version about 3 years ago on Amazon for $100. I did a bit of research on it and from what I saw it was very good, and I don’t have a bad word to say about it. Never had any issue with it, the only negative is that it doesn’t have a build in magnet for the cart but I can’t complain for the price. I use it a lot and I only had to replace the battery 6 months ago from the original blue one. 10/10 for me especially for the price!

I got the Revasri after you reviewed it , my first laser finder so I can't compare it to anything else. That said it works for me and I got it for about 45 quid from Temu. I see a slight flaw in the case of he one you reviewed today ( and this is picky ) but I think the velcro would annoy me as t looks like it would shut when you put the finder back in the case. most other cases I've seen have a quick release loop. Keep up the good work Gaz !

I can’t knock the revasri, it’s right up there for value. Yeah, I suppose it could be if you use it inbetween every shot. This one’s just a-bit heavier than the revasri and feels a touch more premium. They were identical for distance though 👌🏼

Thanks for this series Gaz. I know you love a bargain I just bought the Revasri NK-1000 for £14.39 as a new temu customer 😮. I know you rated a few of the other ones higher but for less than 15 quid should be a nice introduction to range finders and if it doesn't last it hasn't broke the bank.

Is that Rangefinder rechargable? Many are USB-c rechargable, however, I did see one Rangefinder that didnt even have a battery included.

No, but we aren’t a fan of rechargeable rangefinders. When buying a range finder for longevity, we think replaceable batteries are your best options, like the major brands use.

@@garymartingolf Im currently using a Garmin Approach "watch" style distance device but its getting older and needs upgrading. Im thinking about moving up to a proper Rangefinder now. What are the advantages of a "battery-powered" unit vs a rechargable, in your opinion?

@@BobzUrUncle-te6dj I don’t think there is any. How’s your Garmin battery doing? We get so many units back after 3/4 years with built in battery issues. For the lifetime a replaceable battery lasts (6-12month), I don’t think there’s any point in a built in battery, they only make the devise useless once they lose their ability to recharge.

@@garymartingolf My Garmin battery is doing pretty well. Ive had it for 6 or 7 yars I believe. The issue is that the Maps needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled. The unit will NOT return to "golf ready" mode. I had no idea that the rechargable batteries on RF's dont last too long. Thanks for the tips.
